Idea for you to think about, goats, will need to put up a good fence, but with goats not only the meat produce but also the dairy side of it. Milk, cream, cheese and butter also goat wool, all products that can be sold
If leverage is ever a problem can always sell some part. I think over time value of land is going to appreciate a lot - big players like Bill Gates is buying up farmland too. Goodluck buddy.
@@chrise842 yeah, permaculture for the win. Designing a course myself to take there. I am sure Tim and Crissy would also be informed of previous failed foreigner ventures with raising pigs, chickens etc.. Very tough endeavour. As for the datingsite link, any other one you'd need to be very determined and a bit tough on screening some. I went through 4000 profiles as part of a sudden new task on my job (kind of a troubleshooter with logistics, small business) and luckily found surprising gold I nearly missed; a very well educated and gorgeous Filipina. Can't wait to setup some Permaculture there as PH guv are big on agriculture now and the technology and setting seem perfect for each other.
Congratulations to both of you. I'd like to give you some advice. I grew up on a farm. You and Krissy are not ready or able to cultivate the farm now, farmland over grows quickly. A way to prevent this is , rent the property to a farmer, not by the year but by the growing season. You don't take money for it. you take a parentage of the harvest. this way even a poor farmer can afford it, if he does well you do well and visa versa. this keeps your land in good condition. 20% is about normal.
I have a Beautiful Filipina Philly who I met through her sister in America who's a nurse in a Detroit, Michigan suburb. I'm going to bring them to America, but I'm going to buy some land in the Philippines with my future wife's brother. Such wonderful people in the Philippines!
Great video Tim! Like you, I married a woman from The Philippines (Calbayog City). We currently reside in Canada but plan on moving there soon and your video is a real inspiration! Thanks and good luck to you and your family.
Miss Chrissy is not only VERY beautiful she is also a classy classy lady. She is very polite and dresses very modestly. This is the type of lady a husband can be proud of and have a lot of respect for. Tim, God smiled on you brother. Peace.
Always a good choice to purchase land for the future, and the land that you have chosen has lots of potential. However, land needs to be used and maintained, especially rice fields, for IDLE land will eventually revert back to land covered with THICK BRUSH. So, if no one is going to plant rice on your land, or till the land for another crop, then your best option is to have cattle or goats to keep the excess vegetation grazed, and be sure to keep the grazing animals away from any coconuts and bananas and fruit trees that you may plant in the future. The land is mostly flat, except for the raised rice field partitions, and appears to be very fertile, which is PERFECT for growing all types of fruit trees and vegetables too, as long as there are people there who can take care of whatever is planted. In addition, try to avoid building fences, if possible, and just respect and earn respect from your new neighbors, for good neighbors look out for each other. Your and your family are very fortunate to be able to purchase such a wonderful parcel of land at a nice location. The land may appear to be ISOLATED now, but in time, you and the other owners of the other parcels, will be able to cooperate with the local barangay and have a good road constructed on the shared "right of way easement" which will benefit the whole valley. I am looking forward to seeing how you and your family will develop the land in the future. Good Luck with all of your investments. I enjoy watching your videos. Amping (*_*)
Hi Tim and Chrissy, nice piece of land you have there. Are you going to use the land for farming, or will you just build on it? It's good to see you and Chrissy doing a vlog together. Take care, God Bless you and your family!
Congratulations Tim and chrissy on the land i know you guys have been looking at properties and i always prayed to god you get one 💯 Last time I prayed was yesterday and today 😇
Krissy sounded just like my gwapa wife (who is also from Leyte) when she was telling you that the horse was going to kick you. Yep...there is a lot to love when it comes to filipinas.
Like watching you Tim and Chrissy you both have grown so far wish you both luck and blessing in life - I have watched you and Herald video from the beginning and when you first met Chrissy congratulations you both 👍👏
Good info on land Tim. I set my girl up with a bakery over close to basey. I will be there next month for the first time since Covid. Keep up the great videos. I am just starting to build my CZcams channel. Thx again for the info on land purchase.
Wow. That’s awesome guys. It’s really beautiful. It’s a homestead Tim! 💪🏻 very very nice. I’m happy as a clam for you guys! ❤️😊 I noticed while I was there how the hills really got hit hard but they are coming back quite quickly. Those hills will be breathtaking again very soon! Yep Chrissy is buying up all the land! You’re very lucky guys. 😊🥰 J
The land looks sweet! My wife and I bought land in Compostela valley on Mindanao island 500sq meters. And we have a opportunity to 8000sq meters. I have been watching your channel for awhile and I have learned so much. You have saved me a lot of research time. Lol.
Congratulations Tim and Chrissy, nice parcel of land in a nice valley. Chrissy has a wise head on her young shoulders. My has 80 mango🥭 trees and her brother is enjoying the fruits of her labor. 😃
I just subscribed here, love the way life in the countryside. Keep on posting, we do enjoy the scenery. Crissy palangga, get the advice of the farmers so you can make the most use of this place for your profitable advantage.
Looking at the layout of the land, the fact that it is flat and there are old ridges or bunds dividing the plots plus some of the old material left standing suggests rice was grown there, a creek at either end is perfect for growing paddy rice with squash on the edges, share farming might be your best option. Depending on your finances, you could agree to provide some of the inputs for a greater proportion of the profit.
That is exciting Tim & Chrissy. We just retired to the Philz currently living in town. Our plan is to buy a patch of land and farm. I want to raise pigs, chickens wife wants fruit trees. Nice price and pay over time. Well done.
Hey mate, stopped by your place, was diving nearby and I know the area, left you a note, sorry to not catch up this trip. Nice farm lot you have there by the looks.
@@thomasrudy6132 You’re wrong. Buying that land to have for themselves and their son is a great investment for their future. Not only will they build a home there but they also plan on creating work for other people which will no doubt help out the local economy. All this makes more sense than saving fiat that only decreases in value all the time due to inflation.
@@thomasrudy6132 Thomas, I don't get the impression from Tim that it's all about prosperity, in fact I understand him to say that he hopes to farm it and higher locals to work it as a means of giving back to the community. Which I admire! Purchasing a vehicle and land(s) usually will get you in debt... Brian M.
It's a beautiful property Tim and Crissy. One day, you will realized what a treasure you got, and will continue to prosper. That kangkong is very nutritious vegetable alone to grow on that part with water. Enjoy the bounty of nature.
Tim, be sure to clarify to the owner if that parcel of land has a tenant because that small shack seems to be housing a tenant cultivating a part of that land. by Philippine law you cant eject a tenant even if the agreement is between the past owner.
