Many watches are in the same catagory. Investment watches you never wear. They sit inside a protective Watch Case Box with a display window so you can see those expensive watches you have invested cash in. Vacheron Constantin, Bell & Ross, Richard Mille etc. Wearing them? Become scratched or stolen. Is like walking around with a Davinci or Monet painting under your arm.
I did not know that about the CZcams Play button awards. That is terrible, can't believe there is no recourse there. You definitely have earned positive recognition, keep up the wonderful videos and hopefully CZcams will eventually officially recognize it too.
To the last point. I am a massive enthusiast and bought my first luxury watch this summer (BB58) which I know is relatively beginner in this space - I went on holiday and wore it in the sea, jumping off things, snorkelling etc. wasn’t sure if I would but having the insurance gave me confidence and it was absolutely awesome. Looking at it whilst diving deep under water gave me immense satisfaction. Worth a try!
Regarding scratches: I don’t go out of my way to scratch my watch (BB58), but I do wear it all the time & scratches happen. I have a friend that keeps his nice watch in his dresser because he’s scared to scratch it. What is he keeping it nice for…so he can eventually give his kids a watch that sat in a drawer? I want to pass on something to my kids that they know was a part of me & with me through life.
i mean you might wear a casio g shock while you change oil and mow the lawn instead of a cartier tank, but i get the spirit of what you say. ownership isn't what makes an heirloom special, the memories do. my dad said when he was little and acting up in church his mom would give him her watch for him to wind and listen to the time tick as the service went on. i thought it was a really sweet moment enblematic of what makes watches special.
My fav video has to be when you received your Pink Candy from your husband for your birthday. Your reaction was priceless! Genuine surprise, joy and happiness! Love all your vids and seeing your expressions and hearing your accent! You’re a joy to watch!
So true. These watches are just a hobby and for some a passion, but the money is better spent on experiences with loved ones and not material things! My quartz timex, moonswatch and casiaok bring me as much joy to look at as my Rolex's
They are bound to shrink fast on some models as they are no longer worth more than the retail price. When that happens they can phone around and go through a waiting list in 5 minutes because the buyers do not want them any more.
Jenni, my favorite and I think your best video is also the Ulysse Nardin video. You absolutely nailed your presentation, as well as articulating your thoughts and the history/philosophy of a subject NOBODY else thought to explore in the watch space. It was genuinely fascinating. Most of the watch space has become almost entirely highly technical or "market analysis" BS and outside of when someone covers Grand Seiko the artistry and history is absent despite being one of the primary reason watches are even still around.
I might have missed you addressing the Rolex Wait List Shrinking on this video. The cutest video of yours have to be the one when your husband gave you one of your Rolexes and you were at your Office and went crazy. Super cute. Traveling to Switzerland, France and Italy recently, I took my Hamilton Intramatic (most expensive on the trip), my Tissot Chrono and my Galaxy Watch on a roll and kept it in my very safe backpack hidden compartment, when not on my wrist. No problem at all. Loved this video too.
hardened steel/titanium should really become a standard across tool watches/luxury watches - it makes sense to preserve the look and add durability. if a brand like zelos can sell hardened watches at $500/600 i think large watch brands could introduce another tier to their models, if even to justify their over inflated prices some more
I must confess to preferring the Items I buy and own to be in excellent condition. I do acknowledge that in some items wear can give extra character to an Item. This may, or may not include watches in the eyes of some folks. I've read that, and this was hand bag specific, but applies equally to high end watches. Here it was suggested that there is a place for a fake. Keep the genuine item to wear on special, dress to impress, occasions, but routinely in high risk environments-city streets for example, night clubs, another.
Haha as a South African, I found the watch in the car story so funny. We NEVER ever leave valuables in the car. First of all, if they're visible, you're looking to get your windows smashed, but also the risk of getting your car stolen is so high, I'd much rather take my chances wearing my watch on me than to leave it in the glove box.
That’s really sad CZcams has such a draconian rule. Good job. And hoping you’re right about the Rolex wait lists although Tudor is taking care of me (BB Pro and Pelagos 39).
watches are meant to be used. I have never cared about scratches and signs of wear and tear. i have colleagues that never wear their rolexes for fear of "damaging" them. to me that defeats the purpose of getting a watch in the first place. wear them, use them with abandon and freedom i say
Just got the call today for a 2022 Rolex Submariner 126610LN. Have no history with the AD and was put on the list on July 28, 2022. I thought it was a mistake but when I called it was legit. I'm so pumped to get it.
There may be creative ways to reduce scratches. Deciding which hand to wear it; wearing watch wrist down, or wearing long sleeve shirts are ideas. Also am wondering if certain metals like titanium would be another idea to go to war with scratches.
Although titanium is lighter, has more tensile strength and more heat resistant, it is a total scratch magnet. There is an Omega Planet Ocean that I've been wanting, but have been reluctant as it's all titanium and will be a real problem with scratches.
My favourite video you've made was for the Nomos Club, because I ended up getting one and I love it! Thanks for all the content, Jenni! Sorry to hear about your play button too, that sucks!
My brother modded his Sea Dweller with an aluminum green bezel. It's a darker green and sometimes looks black until the light hits it at the right angle. He doesn't plan on ever selling it but has the original black bezel in the event he ever decides to do so.
Definitely don't like scratches but Rolex steel is like butter. Forget the gold. Sneeze and it's scratched. My AD gave me hope on a high demand OP. Fingers crossed.
00:30 Look at picking up some Cape Cod metal polishing cloths to fix minor scratches in stainless steel cases. They work great and will not lower the value, but rather save it.
I don’t think I kinda agree. I went into my local AD in London a few days ago. I’ve got solid purchase history with a good relationship. Almost all professional models are closed for registration and that’s for people with purchase history, so leave it to your imagination for people with no purchase history.
I wish more enthusiasts would demand more from watchmakers concerning case materials! Coming from the world of edc knives, it is kind of shocking how sloppy watchmakers are when it comes to material thinking. Damasko is my hero in this context, not just because the surface harden their steel, but because they are also willing to refurbish them!!! Sinn won’t do this with their tegiment watches. Damasko deserve WAY more credit for their engineering integrity.
Interesting...I just visited my AD here in Melbourne Australia and was told that the 5 year wait is now 10 years!! Nice to know that I have reached the 5 years!! PS The watch I have been waiting for is the GMT II Pepsi so it's probably reserved for the " exclusive customer". Great channel love it thankyou.
On my opinion watches (same goes for rings) look great when they are either in mint condition or well used with a great patina. So when i got my new 126610LN Sub i was crying over every single new scratch but after wearing it a LOT it now just looks even more beautiful. Many scratches add up to a beautiful harmony like many skew singing voices add up nicely to an amazing chorus... so don't worry! Watches age beautifully.
I believe we should wear watches. All my watches end up with scratches. All normal. From Casio to Swatch to Rolex to AP. My Tissot Le Locle, even if it's a slim dress watch is the biggest scratch collection. All bracelets are in pristine condition as I have hairy wrists so always wear leather
I scratched my Tudor putting it in my gym bag while training. Pretty stupid but scratched the side of case. Got a case for it so that never happens again. As far as scratches though I never will sell watches I buy. I would sooner give them to my kids. My thought is if you can’t afford it you shouldn’t buy it. Now as far as Rolex after the whole selling mainly to flippers for a few years I refuse to buy. I actually like Breitling better. They are very underrated.
This is the first time I ever heard anyone take such a neutral stance towards replica watches. I feel the same way. If someone I know wears one and tries to pass it off as real, I wouldn't care enough to start a fight over it.
Ppl had nothing to do earlier and were sitting on a lot of savings from covid lockdown so many people were buying rolex n all. A lot of ppl ik who bought watches that time or wanted to buy one couldn’t care less anymore about watches lol. Its similar to what happened with investing, at some point everyone was using robinhood daily
My AD told me that they have been calling people on the list to offer GMT pepsi to a number of people, but a few of them declined 🥴 I already have one, so don’t really care. This is in central London too 🤷🏼♂️
I would estimate that 90% of the scratches and dings I've ever caused to my watches over the years have been due to knocking my watch against doorframes (and one time chipped a crystal when I brushed to close to a brick corner of a building). Also, I am also one who does not care for a lot of complications on my watches. And if the watch has an especially attractive dial, even a date window is one complication too many. I prefer balanced design in the watches I buy.
I recently went to a Rolex boutique after initial e-mail contact and appointment making. I arrived for my appointment with my teenage son. My intention being he’d remember the day I bought the watch when it passes onto him. We arrived around 10 minutes late… one other customer in the store. It took around 20 minutes for someone to attend to us. We were then seated at one of the two desks in the store and attended to by a very polite lady. After some polite conversation which involved me being asked what I done for a living, what car I drove, what my wife worked as and other general fact finding, I was informed my chosen piece was not available but I would be made aware when one was. I wonder if I was a famous celebrity there would be one available… This was 6 months ago. Still not heard anything. I’ve recently seen the new air king being sold for twice it’s retail value. I don’t understand. If Rolex want to be so exclusive, why not charge the same price for a new one as they are going for in the pre owned market ? They have become utterly snobbish. For a company who were initially making tool watches and have questionable claims to holding various records etc. they really need to keep themselves in check. I’ve decided to look elsewhere for a tough, lasting watch as the brand have failed to impress me enough as a buyer to actually purchase one. In addition, anyone paying more than the original price for something other than historical or extremely rare is an idiot.
Du verstehst es nicht. Sie haben einfach keine Uhren. Jeder denkt er sei speziell und muss besser bedient werden. Es kommen im Tag hundert Leute in den Laden.
One the same page. For Rolex AD prices for a fairly ordinary if well-made mass-production watch you can buy something hand-made and finished by a master watchmaker. Made in the hundreds per year not a million. THAT would be more special to pass on to your son. From someone who cares about you as an individual client, not looked down the nose at.
In the end your son might prefer an Omega. They have been an active sponsor of the Olympic games since 1932 and they are friendly and passionate about the watches that they manufacture. And at some point you may even decide to pay them a visit in Bienne ! 😎😎😎
Rolex is not snobby ,- they make too few watches to meet the demand. If they sell you a watch they have given you money typically. And they always sell at msrp. They sell the watches as a thank you to their best jewelry customers. You would do the same….
That‘s indeed completely ridiculous that they penalised you for posting that “nudity” watch video. Especially considering what they let stay on this platform. I know that on other platforms things can get flagged by AI, but you can appeal and then humans check it. Usually some common sense then prevails. You definitely deserve the subscriber badge.
Greetings from Singapore. It’s nice seeing ppl in the states getting their Rolex from the AD quicker. Over here, nothing has change. Prices did drop but the AD are still playing the “pairing” game. Want a Submariner? Pair it with a Hublot. In terms of replica watches. I can’t say I hate them. I did consider to buy them because, I really like the looks of it and getting it at retail from the AD is just impossible without having to sell your organs 😂 Someone I know recently wanted to purchase a 37mm Royal Oak, she got the call from the AP boutique. Price over here is around SGD37k and they will only sell it to her if she also buy a SGD70k CODE 11.59 That’s over SGD100k! So, I totally get why Replica exist and why some people buy them. Imo, spending 100k just to get a 30k plus watch is stupid and no company should do that kind of shit.
I'm from SG as well and I agree this practice is nonsense but is sadly still rampant. Not sure if anything can be done about it. In SG, its always the buyers that lose out as we have weak consumer laws here.
Reason why the replica market flourishes, and the high end ones are literally indistinguishable from real unless you use a microscope. Forcing them to pay a 70k "tax" to wear a 30k watch ? Hahahahaha
Shocking to hear. Thankfully I’ve not experienced the same. But it’s possible that it’s a 50th anniversary and she has no profile hence the high cost of entry ?
I beat the absolute dogshit out of my watches and love every minute of it. No shrinking around doors, no being dainty at the watch counter… i buy these things to own and wear. My P01 has been my daily wear since the day I bought it… and it’s slowly starting to show, but oh well. If you are that scared to scratch your watch, you might have done better opting for a model in brushed steel instead of polished. Form serves the function. I understand being careful with an expensive possession… but if you are scared of a slight scratch depreciating the value… you might not have been able to afford it in the first place.
Man honestly. Stickers on watches... just wear the watch! They're made to be enjoyed. All this protection just takes away from the fun. But that's just personal opinion And a grumpy p.s. really had enough of Rolex talk and people worrying about waiting lists. There are so many amazing alternatives to the hyped inflated rolex pieces (for me in any case) .. the fact that I can get an IWC , Omega, JLC , VC and Lange even, for the price of a hyped Rolex model makes me really NOT want a Rolex. They're great watches, but FOR ME there is so much more elegance and history and quality to be had at the same price. I can get a gold beautiful watch for the price of a sub... for example..or a lovely thin JLC with a fantastic movement. And I've tried many on. The Rolexes are heavy and bulky in many cases. The other brands I've tried make some incredible pieces... this is just my opinion. Once I let go of Rolex, I became a happier watch geek. That's probably just me
I absolutely love my Rolex watches. I have a long term relationship with my AD so I never had to wait more than a couple of months for the watch I wanted. There are a lot of watch enthusiasts that want to try Rolex, I am happy they will have rñthe opportunity to do so. Happy to see the flippers losing a lot of $. Rolex sport models were created to be worn regardless the conditions...lol...mine are..🤩🤣.
Just stumbled on to your vid. When a watch collector can says none of these watches are really worth it, that gets my subscription. Refreshingly rational
If you want a watch that's worth it go for a casio f91W - So true! 🙂! Seems ridiculous that you got a strike after you said the video had nudity in it, love watching your videos!
I don’t think it is an issue of affording to fix but rather keeping something special in as much of its original state as possible. Some care, others don’t.
Not that many watch bloggers loving the Yatchmaster to own one. All seem to rate the Yatchmaster. My blue face Yatchmaster 40 is my favourite in my collection. Good to see yours Jeni. I look after it with ‘kid gloves’, can’t avoid the polished clasp from scratches. May look at the protective stickers. Hope the Rolex wait list is shrinking - 4 years in waiting for GMTII Master, from AD with Rolex purchase history. Avoided playing the buy other brands to move up the list game. If offered a YM40 with slate dial, would strongly consider it. (Could always flip it, not my style, I avoid grey-market, silly I know).
Oooh a new Jenni Elle video! I love your QnA sessions. Looking forward to you see you doing more in the future! Keep up the good work Jennie Cheers from Korea😄😄
When ever I travel....a G-Shock is all I wear! I have had watches of mine in the past disappear from my luggage...even when I locked my bag! My 89 year old mother was a professional seamstress... as she had some very exclusive clients that she made dresses, coats, skirts, etc. Usually she got patterns from Vogue Magazine for her clients. She still sews, mainly for my sister and herself now! I have the opposite problem with my wrist...mine are very large! But...I am 6'6" in bare feet...closer to 6'8" in my Reebok basketball shoes...and my wrist is 23 cm....9 inches! I mainly wear a 47 mm watch because it looks normal on me. I owned a Rolex in the 1980's, but got rid of it and purchased 2 really nice Seiko's to replace the Rolex! I had money left over too! Today...wouldn't buy one even if I had the money....most of them are like, what my wife calls them, an old mans watch! An IWC Top Gun watch...now that's a cool watch!
Hi Jenni! I really love your videos and so great to have a woman's view on watches. I recently got into loving watches and learning about the brands, history and best value for money. I'm on the waitlist for a Rolex but just can't wait and I think i wi go for a hamilton open heart. What is your opinion on hamilton? It is difficult to find automatic watches 36-37-38mm. It seems that a lot of women's watches are shrunk down and quartz :( Love your channel thanks a lot for the great information you always share with us! 🤩😍🥰😘
Hi Jenni. Speaking of small wrist alliance OMG I LOVE THE YM37 on my “surgical dexterity” wrists 🤣 thanks for the review on it!!! As for emotional buys… My JLC Master Control blue 2022 is my emotional buy… I binned the strap they give in the box for a fully adjustable one for my “surgical dexterity” wrists. Otherwise phenomenal watch!!!
We are living in times of contradictions and uncertainty as it seems people get the call quicker than they thought but on the other end ADs here in Switzerland are refusing to add people on the wait list because they can't provide. Maybe the ADs are anticipating the increase of Rolex production and try to postpone people being on the list in order to keep a 1.5 year minimum wait list. Just a thought
I’m proud to say all my Rolex watches are used. I too don’t care for the ‘authorised’ dealers in my area. However I always wanted one, so I hit eBay, pawn shops, etc. I’ve been able trade up over the years- knowing that they will need repair. I appreciate a little ‘petina’ (I know I spelled wrong). I like learning about the different models. I don’t make money on these, jus enough to keep parlaying into the next watch. I do not support fakes at all. Jenni - Like channel- I’m still warming up this boom mic and ‘radio station/podcast’ look, I liked more natural look from your earlier uploads. Still good content. Thanks
I hate scratches also. I am also in the IBWC. Fakes that are marketed as the real thing is like buying stolen goods. Replicas that are marketed as such without the branding of the original are okay in my mind since the watch companies are copying each other.
I was just put on a wait list for a blue dial 41mm OP. I was just wondering if you had any idea of how long I should expect to wait or if there’s any forums that are currently up to date to follow??
I don’t think I would conscientiously wear a fake watch to pass it off as the real thing. I would wear a fake watch watch as a fake watch. If anyone asked i would say it’s fake. I would never sell a fake watch. I have no problem with high quality homage watches. Some of them look great, even better than the watches that they are homaging, you save a ton of money too and you don’t have to baby them. That’s me. Others can do what they want.
50 fathoms bathyscaphe calendar moon is one of my favorite looking watch. A full calendar + moon, 43mm, 300m résistant and 72h power reserve... But I also love 42mm rolex sky-dweller...
As much as I want to believe, but there’s no slowing in lists at ADs in the US. They’ve changed the policy of first time buyers so it’s “easier” for them, but overall- it’s still unobtainable
Your surroundings for this video are so relaxing and inviting. And, may I add, you have the nicest accent on CZcams. I could listen to you read cookbooks and never be bored.
Regarding the increase in Watch theft - If you wouldn't be comfortable walking around with 10K in cash, wearing a Submariner is probably not a good option. So don't save up all your money to buy a grail and treat it as a daily wearer (you might even want to reconsider purchasing a grail in the first place). Your daily wearer should be something you won't go into cardiac arrest if you lose it or have to hand it over to muggers.
@@marcwalden8054 Possibly, though premiums may become ridiculously expensive with the increase in watch theft. Also, insurance doesn't protect you from any serious physical or psychological trauma as a result of the mugging.
your dual review of the seiko Chun li and ryu has to be my favorite from recent memory. I feel like you really pulled back the curtain so to speak and we learned something about you personally we otherwise wouldn't have
Hello Jenni, nice video. I was about to purchase buy the watch protection with code for the free single travelling box but when I wanted to finalise the purchase the code disappeared and I couldn't use it anymore. Is that normal? Thanks in advance for your answer.
I've enjoyed your watch videos for a while, and this is my first time commenting. I'm so sorry that you were disqualified for your play button. That was very unjust. You have a great channel, your content is superb and you have an appreciative audience.
All my watches were scratched and broken. Finding bargains in Pawn Shops, Estate Sales they come with their own patina. All watches get tender loving care with a full service I do myself, completly torn down washed cleaned aand damage repaired buffed out to near new condition. A total restoration would mean replacxing the case with a new case, new crystal, new back cover, new watch spring. It's all part of the hobby. Most of the fun is the hunt for a special watch. Some watches you cannot wear out casually. The watches over $5000 you become a target. Even a Tudor Black Bay might get you in trouble. Wear a nice Seiko or Citizen and nobody bothers you.
I really don't consider the Casio F-91W to be as great as they claim. Too small for my chunky nuggies. But the Casio W-800H-1AV on the other hand is perfect! Bigger, better and still slim enough to slide underneath a tight sleeve.
Thanks for the great discussions! That's crazy about the blocked video, CZcams relying on its software to police, maybe a few letters to them about it might help to change their minds,🥴
Maybe I will get my Pepsi after more than 3 years waiting 😍 Und das, obwohl ich bereits seit 11 Jahren Kunde dort bin und unter anderem Uhren gekauft habe, die nicht von Rolex stammen. Auch zu einer Zeit, in der es Rolex noch unterhalb des Listenpreises beim Grauen gab. Aber anscheinend zählt Profit mehr als Treue von Kunden mit geringeren Umsätzen.
Jenni I have watched your channel from time to time an have just subscribed, thus, I have added one mor notch to your subscriber list. I just wanted to say keep doing what your doing your genuine honesty and expressions come through in your videos. I love the fact you are being successful at what seams fun to you. Thank You. BTW- I have only subscribed to only a few channels Hodinkee and one other making your channel in good company.
Replica watches are like faux anything...they're an attempt to deceive or brag. In front of me is a Helm Miyako, an obvious reference to the Blancpain Fifty-Fathoms, and yet Helm kept it's name on the dial and there are definitely differences between the two. In a few days, I'll receive a Steinhart Ocean 39 Adventure, which is a strap monster and a near clone of the Roller. I know the obvious reference, and I might someday aspire to that kind of watch price, but for now, I'll keep my desires limited to reference and original designs (Aevig Corvid FTW!). I don't need nor want external validation of my desires.
How refreshing! Love your videos! Scratches? I hate them. That's why I wear a beater watch for everyday carry, and only wear my more expensive watches for "special" occasions. To each their own! I love the fact you openly admit that luxury watches are not "worth" the prices the companies charge. Unlike art, there is some inherent value. But so much is what the market will bear; or what one is willing to pay. Not everyone agrees with this sentiment, however. I definitely have a limit, but I'm not wealthy so I don't have a choice! I've never lost a watch, but lost a very expensive pocket knife. A rare, high demand custom knife with titanium handles that collectors will recognize. Somehow the belt sheath fell off. The clip was much too flimsy for such a special knife. I don't know what I was thinking. It was totally my fault, and it kills me even now, almost two decades later!
This may sound weird, but I hate having a pristine watch with just one scratch. I’d much prefer a watch with many war wounds, than a pristine watch with just one blemish.
I got a call and was basically asked which GMT I had asked for 2 years prior, a Pepsi was presented to me 4 minutes later. It's actually become my favorite daily wear piece. I know a number of other collectors who have received calls in the past 2 months, and also a couple who have walked into an AD and walked out with a piece. Interesting times
I guess it really depends where you are , model , AD relationship etc, I've been waiting for 8 months so far for a DJ36 Blue dial & 6 months for DJ41 Green, do have history. I hear other people getting calls , I'll just wait bit longer hopefully it will come.
Love your videos. I have to strongly disagree about fake watches. Fake watches are a criminal enterprise. Buying them is supporting criminals. Wearing one is lying to yourself and everyone you see. Wear a genuine watch from any make and be proud of it instead of wasting money on a garbage fake; not to mention all the mental and ethical gymnastics it takes to justify it.
Gave up on Rolex 🎉. Too much snobbery in their purchasing process for a new Rolex 🙄
Lol. Loser.

That bag in a bag is really cool and the fabric is pretty!
My watches get scratched, because I wear them.
watches are meant to be used. I have never cared about scratches and signs of wear and tear. i have colleagues that never wear their rolexes for fear of "damaging" them. to me that defeats the purpose of getting a watch in the first place. wear them, use them with abandon and freedom i say
Yeah, unless you are collecting XIX cemtury antiques
I really appreciate your channel, Jenni. I think you have one of the best watch channels around. Keep up the good work! Best wishes!
We need to do a petition to get Jenni her play button!!! 😔
I’d sign that.
Congratulations…you've been selected randomly for the giveaway............send a message………🎉🎉🎉
00:30 Look at picking up some Cape Cod metal polishing cloths to fix minor scratches in stainless steel cases. They work great and will not lower the value, but rather save it.
Yes, I’ve used it and works like a charm. Never over polishes.
I actually also think your UN Voyeur video is one of your best videos ever!
But I‘m also German, so we share the not being bothered by nudity attitude
Wow, do you use your watch to pound nails?
Ppl had nothing to do earlier and were sitting on a lot of savings from covid lockdown so many people were buying rolex n all. A lot of ppl ik who bought watches that time or wanted to buy one couldn’t care less anymore about watches lol. Its similar to what happened with investing, at some point everyone was using robinhood daily
Wearing a replica is aiding and abetting criminals. Period.
I hate scratches and have become quite skilled in brushing them out.
me too, 3000-5000 grit wet sandpaper is magic. takes calm hand motion in one direction
Yes, trash, flip or keep. Would love that video.

The "Here's the current TAG Heuer situation". Video was nice. And I'd like to see more Zeppelin watches.
If I am there to purchase a watch and the seller asks me what car I drive I would tell them to fuck off even if I drove a Ferrari.

I did consider to buy them because, I really like the looks of it and getting it at retail from the AD is just impossible without having to sell your organs 😂
Someone I know recently wanted to purchase a 37mm Royal Oak, she got the call from the AP boutique. Price over here is around SGD37k and they will only sell it to her if she also buy a SGD70k CODE 11.59
That’s over SGD100k!
Your videos are rly relaxing. Thank you Jenni
But that's just personal opinion
And a grumpy p.s. really had enough of Rolex talk and people worrying about waiting lists.
Can you appeal the play button thing! That seems so unfair for what is a honest mistake!! I hope you can get that cleared.
I currently have 24 rolex mods I've collected over the years. Many are sourced from original parts with custom additions

Soooo, frankenwatches?
Just stumbled on to your vid. When a watch collector can says none of these watches are really worth it, that gets my subscription. Refreshingly rational
If you want a watch that's worth it go for a casio f91W - So true! 🙂! Seems ridiculous that you got a strike after you said the video had nudity in it, love watching your videos!
Great video Jenni, and I hate scratches also. The first scratch is always the worst.
First scratch is the best: Ah, sigh of relief, f it, I can enjoy the watch and not worry about scratches any more!
my watchmaker once told me, " if you can't afford to scratch it, you can't afford it" True say.
I don’t think it is an issue of affording to fix but rather keeping something special in as much of its original state as possible. Some care, others don’t.
Wonderful folk at YT. The word Orwellian comes to mind. Love this content Jenni and I'm sorry you missed getting a Play Button Award.
Which Datejust is that? I tried one on in Turks and caicos this summer and don’’t know the dial or model # but I love it !
Luxury to one person is almost unlimited price, while to another person it is say £1,000
It seems that a lot of women's watches are shrunk down and quartz :(
Love your channel thanks a lot for the great information you always share with us!
🤩😍🥰😘

"I made this thing" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’m proud to say all my Rolex watches are used. I too don’t care for the ‘authorised’ dealers in my area. However I always wanted one, so I hit eBay, pawn shops, etc. I’ve been able trade up over the years- knowing that they will need repair. I appreciate a little ‘petina’ (I know I spelled wrong). I like learning about the different models. I don’t make money on these, jus enough to keep parlaying into the next watch.
I do not support fakes at all.
Jenni -
Like channel- I’m still warming up this boom mic and ‘radio station/podcast’ look, I liked more natural look from your earlier uploads. Still good content. Thanks
Congratulations…you've been selected randomly for the giveaway............send a message………🎉🎉🎉
Joined the waitlist and was called 3 days later saying it was available
I don’t think I would conscientiously wear a fake watch to pass it off as the real thing. I would wear a fake watch watch as a fake watch. If anyone asked i would say it’s fake. I would never sell a fake watch. I have no problem with high quality homage watches. Some of them look great, even better than the watches that they are homaging, you save a ton of money too and you don’t have to baby them. That’s me. Others can do what they want.
Well done for the shopping bag!
11:00 Tudor Black Bay 58.... my favourite!

They’ve changed the policy of first time buyers so it’s “easier” for them, but overall- it’s still unobtainable
the recurve bow on the back !!
Your surroundings for this video are so relaxing and inviting. And, may I add, you have the nicest accent on CZcams. I could listen to you read cookbooks and never be bored.
Sorry I missed the q&a, what is your take on Hermes cape cod watches?
When u brought out the bag… hahah you are cute! ☺️

Thats what insurance is for
@@marcwalden8054 Possibly, though premiums may become ridiculously expensive with the increase in watch theft. Also, insurance doesn't protect you from any serious physical or psychological trauma as a result of the mugging.
Hi Jenni one of the best channels on YT and no play button poor judgement!
Very relaxing set, love the keyboard who makes it.

your dual review of the seiko Chun li and ryu has to be my favorite from recent memory.
Maybe I will get my Pepsi after more than 3 years waiting 😍
I’m still waiting 2+ years… good luck.
Jenni I have watched your channel from time to time an have just subscribed, thus, I have added one mor notch to your subscriber list. I just wanted to say keep doing what your doing your genuine honesty and expressions come through in your videos. I love the fact you are being successful at what seams fun to you. Thank You.

Waitlists are NOT dropping for sports rolex
Agree. A homage that shares design traits with a watch you can’t get is the right answer. I recently bought the Steinhart homage to the old Rolex GMT.
I was told after three years I never was on the waiting list for the GMT 😢
I guess it really depends where you are , model , AD relationship etc, I've been waiting for 8 months so far for a DJ36 Blue dial & 6 months for DJ41 Green, do have history. I hear other people getting calls , I'll just wait bit longer hopefully it will come.
@@matty89ng Hopefully, AD did say they registered my interest so not sure what’s going on.
Nice made up story Jeff 😉
I love the idea of a sports watch with complications, more useful for me! Love my Citizen Nighthawk which does this.
Completely agree! Was surprised as well to hear that comment!
