I agree with KFC, Alicent deep down knew Viserys wanted to stand by his decision for Rhaenyra to take the throne but she took the opportunity of his deathbed quote to put her Aegon on the throne. Once a bitch always a bitch. She definitely did not know about the prophesy. #TeamBlack.

He’s a bastard son, known as a dragon seed his name is Ulf…the son that got sent away was alicents and his name is daeron the daring.
KFC don't rewatch thrones. They spoil the dance of dragons in Season 2 or 3. Joffery tells Margery the whole story.
If you see Joffrey showing Margery around, skip the whole scene! (Season 3 Episode 4, i think)

Also for the most part I think this show both season 1&2 have been poor at setup unless it’s inside it’s own episodes. The building over a season is very bad
