I’ve literally washed my xr because I had a protein shake spill all over it in lunch. Everyone looked at me terrified and I noticed they all had Walmart phones 💀💀💀💀 it’s fine. I use it to listen to music in the shower without issue 😂

@@nemesiszer0708 I’ve had it for over two years. I don’t ever submerge it in water. I quickly rinsed it off that one time to get the shake off of it, and when I use it in the shower I try not to get it completely in the stream of water.
These phones are water resistant. So as long as you don’t constantly dunk them in a swimming pool everyday or submerge them all the time in a Bath there won’t be an issue. Trust me, I’ve never had a problem in any of the years I’ve had it. Now my 5s on the other hand… that wouldn’t have survived if I used it like this one without a very waterproof case. And I never did use it like this.

Dude, so I’m here out of curiosity because I had an iPhone 12 that I spilt some hot/warmish coffee on and not even half a cup I’m talking just a screen full of coffee, wiped it off and instantly got some kind of emergency mode pop up, and I can’t even touch ok or any of the screen anymore from one little coffee spill. A good few days later and the screen is still not touchable. I’ve been blown away about it. My old galaxy a50 would’ve survived that. Idk if it was because it was really warm but it really wasn’t even hot. Went to my carrier and since there wasn’t any internal water damage that pretty much proved that I wasn’t bullshitting and in that case they replaced it for me because it was certified to handle that. She recommended me the 11 pro max because apparently there’s no doubt it handles that and more, and MAN did this video open my eyes to that. I can’t believe the iPhone 7 survived all that compared to an iPhone 12 and a small coffee spill. I feel a whole lot better with my 11 pro max now, i hardly notice any difference at all from the 12 anyway. I really hope they made the 13 better.

Could you maybe do this again with the newer iPhones? The iPhone 12 lineup was the first to have Ceramic Shield which is supposed to be resistant to everyday spills like water, juice, and soda. Maybe do this again with iPhones X/XR/XS/XS Max, 11, 12, 13, 14? Great job!
