    We used all purpose flour instead of cake flour. Coconut milk instead of evap milk and it turned out just good. Anyways thank u for sharing this recipe now i know how to make soft and fluffy kind of this. 😊

    I made this and it is delicious. I put cream cheese and shredded exam cheese. Yum.
    I also put it in foil cup cake liners so no need to grease.

    Hi Miss, thank you very much for sharing your puto cheese recipe, masarap talaga sya, ang sa akin lang instead 1 1/4C cake flour ang ginamit ko 1/2 C all purpose flour, 3/4C plain flour but nag removed ako nang 2tbsp. from the flour and nag add ako ng 2tbsp. cornstarch. At hindi lang ako nag lagay ng cream of tartar but masarap cya and i like it. Then ang result soft and smooth ang puto cheese ko. At sa mold naman ang ginamit ko ay silicone cupcake. My husband really like it kasi hindi cya matamis sakto lang ang tamis. Once again thank you and Have a nice Christmas 🎄 and God bless you 😊 from Scotland.

      Anna Marie Ursal hello po san po kayo nagbawas ng flour na 2tbsp? Kasi dalawang klase po na flour nilagay nyo. Sa All Purpose flour po ba or sa Plain flour kayo nagbawas ng 2tbsp?

    Oh dear, i just made your recipe and so perfect, love it, super fluffy and soft talaga,. Minus cream of tartar lng xa kc wala akong stock. But its still very tasty kind of puto. Salamat and i keep this recipe to make another batch next time😘

      Thank u, pero okay lng naman walang cream of tartar kc mahirap hanapin dito sa Switzerland khit sa Asian store wala, but still it turned out super pluffy at yummy, khit mga family and friends ko dito sobrang nasarapan at nag ask ng recipe mo. Salamat ulit

      Ito yung gusto kong puto texture lasi natikman ko..cake flour pla gamit para sya smooth at white..yan gamit yung nagbebenta suki ko gmit nya sa putopao..cake flour..natikman ki din mga iba ibang puto pera sa akin yan ang d best!!

    totoo tong pinaka the best na puto, ang gagamitn ay cake flour instead of rice flour, nasubokan ko na ito nong 5 yrs. ago na tinantya ko lang yung ingredients ko, pero try ko nga itong ingredients niya, para di na ako mag tantya muli... basta totoo tong masarap talaga ang puto cake flour, kasi natikman ko na to noon....

      Ang dali naluto yung puto ko, ang sarap talaga, hinaloan ko ng organic coconut oil, sarap pa rin, sobrang lambot....nilagay ko pa sa banana leaves....mabango....TY sa ingredients...di na ako mag tantya...

Taga pangasinan Po aq but now living abroad, Meron ding putong puti Po s pangasinan but mahirap gawin kc gigiling pa ng rice then need ng fermentation but your recipe is so simple and madaling gawin. i’ll give this a try sure magugustuhan ito ng mga kids ko since miss n din nila ang putong calasiao (that’s what we call it since s calasiao pangasinan galling napakasarap Po)

      Meron ring puto na talagang rice flour ang gamit. Meron ring puto na APL at cake flour ang gamit. Dahil hindi rice flour ang ginamit ko sa kinalakihan kung Puto cheese ay hindi na "real" puto. :)

      using cake flour or any other kind of flour doesn't make puto cheese less puto. there are even puto made from corn. it's just like adobo, every province has it's own version. you have puto made from rice flour, we do too. we have puto made from other kinds of flour, you don't.

    Nice video but i suggest adding some salt for the batter to enhance the flavor. And a bit squeeze of lemon juice if tartar is not available.

    Hi po! Thank you sa recipe nyo! Gumawa po ako today at nasarapan po yung pamilya ko. Nag wonder lang po ako kasi ginamit ko All purpose flour sobrang sticky nya po. I don't know if kulang ba yung milk na nilagay ko pero sinunod ko naman po yung measurement nyo. Ang ginawa ko po ay nag add nlng ako nang milk 😅

    hi... i tried the recipe today the moistness is perfect... i’m also a bisdak and i love puto cheese... i wanted it a bit sweet so I might add 1/4 sugar on my next time.. though I used a coarse grain baking sugar, would it matter on the sweetness? also I do notice a bit of sourness after taste... can you advice on this...

    Ang tanong mo ay kung meron dito sa Luzon? Oo naman, lol! Dito mo makikita at matitikman ang ibat ibang klase ng puto at mga kakanin. Yang recipe mo na yan ay baka dito rin galing sa amin sa Luzon. Ang klase ng puto na yan ay puto cake. Yan din ang ginagamit namin sa paggawa ng puto pao. Business ko yan nung 1990's pa.

    Ok lang poh ba gamitin all purpose flour? And evaporated.milk din poh va pwede gamitin? Salamat

      Hi Nick, hindi puwede kasi meron ng nag ask nito before, so I tried gamitin ang APL & evap, hindi nag work. Iba ang consistency, kulay at lasa. Kaya hindi ko nire-recommend.

      Hi Michael, merong iba na konting white vinegar ginagamit nila, pero hindi ko pa na-try. Alam mo, isang beses wala kaming cream of tartar, pero it turned out good naman. Let me know if anong gagamitin ko substitute sa cream of tartar. Sana successful ang Puto na lulutuin mo. Salamat.

    Hello,ganda ng boses mo sk klarado explanation mo and your not using the word siya sa bawat ginagawa mo. Tagalog din ako at mahilig manuod ng cooking video ikaw palang npnuod ko ngayun n ang ginagamit para ipaliwanag ang mga ginagawa ay ito. Dmi ko n nkuhang puto recipe pero subukan ko rin yang luto mo pr d magsawa mga suki ko iba nman ilako ko s kanila.
