Glad you gave credit to Mello where he deserves it. The entire melody on ceremony is clearly done by him and “this feels good right here” is literal direct rip from one of his old songs. And that’s just talking about two rather obvious details on a single track

you have no idea, oh my god, the only song i liked was honestly ceremony, maybe triumphant. the mixing on the rest of the songs sound so rushed 😭
My girlfriend never understands what im talking about when i say something sounds like ass. She also just kinda says it all sounds the same. I suppose it is all subjective in the end but if you dedicate all your time to making this stuff its easy to pick up the flaws

Svdden used to collab with and remix code a lot back in the day. He was in the God's Army remixes and did a collab with him and Lux called From the Grave.
Fireball could have been so good. Like just imagine if they sent it to phaseone or sullivan king or someone like that for mixing.

Totally agree with your opinion here. I still enjoy fireball cuz my untrained ears don’t pick up on the slight production flaws, but once you point them out I can definitely hear the quality difference between thr tracks

@justalpha9138 it's hard for danny to describe. And me too idk how to put it but like there is a technique he does to make his songs sound "bad" because it has the same consistency from song to song. And this is NOT me saying his music is bad. Because I admire his sound. It's very unique. It's "danny".

Going into the production behind this, seeing as fireball was the most worked on song and the most hyped up, I'm not entirely shocked that you didn't love it but your reasoning for not liking it seemed like you WILDLY missed the direction of the song. Don't want to act like the song is perfect cause it for sure is not, but you really seem to lack the ability to understand storytelling in music sometimes. Despite you loving Muerte, it just seems like you are even so focused on the mixdown of his songs and miss all of the absolutely beautiful storytelling in his music. It might seem like I'm going on a random rant but in Fireball it really seemed like they wanted to open with heaviness, then let the band takeover and have the last drop be a blend of the two, providing context for why the mixdown style changes. Seeing as SVDDEN DEATH as recently as two months ago tweeted out how people don't appreciate "creative mixdowns," it seems like this video is the perfect example of that. A mixdown doesn't have to be "correct" to be good. Again, not saying that the song is perfect, there were some parts that didn't work for me either, but you reacting to these songs with such a shallow angle is really hurting any criticism you have for these artists. You absolutely need to title these videos "first reactions," because I think you could be doing a lot of harm with people thinking that these are well thought out criticisms for these artists. Spitballing thoughts is fine, but some of these videos absolutely don't sit right with me
