Grazing Red Clover for Profit and Persistency

  • Red clover is a high-yielding legume that can bring increased sward and livestock productivity whilst reducing reliance on bagged nitrogen through nitrogen fixation. Persistency however can be variable, often down to overgrazing.
    In this video, Daniel Stout, SAC Consulting, and Emily Grant, Coldrochie Farm, and Forrit Consultancy, discuss these benefits and how grazing strategies should be adapted to promote its persistency.
