i just linked my gba900 to my phone and the bluetooth icon on the watch always blinking after i disconnect the bluetooth, is it normal? i am afraid to drain the battery

I initially used the move app for initial setup but the watch had this annoying notification beeping every few minutes. I thought it was the battery low indicator as I did not know what the flashing symbol was. However I was able to manually reset the watch and manually set the watch from your video. Thank you 👍🏾
This is such a thorough and informative video, very professional. As for the watch....WHY do Casio insist on putting such AWFUL negative displays in so many of their watches? I've had some cheap watches with very good negative displays, but Casio use some of the worst. I bought a GBD-800....BIG MISTAKE, it's UNUSABLE, the display is WORSE than ANYTHING I've ever seen before, even cheap £10 watches have better displays than Casio G-Shocks.

@@JRVEGA2002 Si lo que quieres es un buen contador de pasos es más recomendable una mi band o algún smart watch de otra marca; pero si vas por la estética de G-Shock con sus otras prestaciones como el estilo, resistencia al agua, duración, etc; vale la pena. El fabricante habla de 2 años de duración en la batería, pero claro que un tough solar es preferible, sólo que se eleva el precio. Yo tengo el negro, pero es mucho más bonito el naranja. La falla considero, sería su display negativo aunque esté de moda.

Hi, very helpful video. I have 2 questions. Does the steps counter and distance covered work without bluetooth connection and how accurate is it? Also, how does the orange colour look in real; is it good enough for an everyday watch?
Step counter is ok without bluetooth. For accurate distance, you will need the bluetooth connection. Orange is awesome striking color, good enough for daily.
About the GBA-900, I bought one in June 2022 and I discovered that it is bugged to sum the distance in SPLIT Mode. I had contacted CASIO that try to tell me that it's because of my SmartPhone. Finally they have recognized the bug, but are not able to provide a schedule and how to fix it. So it's my first and last CASIO G-SHOCK. I loved their calculators. But now I'm really disappointed.
Why my alarm display doesn’t showing on my gba900-sm & i just only can set my alarm using G Shock Move app? It should be showing up AL display on watch but mine showing only SIG (ON/OFF). Is it bcoz of my watch was pair with my phone in app in case if i wanna set any alarm just through the app no need on my watch that only can use for ON/OFF SIG ??
Mine doesn't show standard time nor does it allow me to swap. What am I doing wrong? I just always see DT and can't adjust the analog to match the digital.

Great review! How do the buttons feel compared to GBA800? Are they more "user friendly"? Sometimes I find it difficult to operate my GBA800- I have to press the buttons really hard. Compared to my GR8900 it´s night and day.
yes, mine does that too sometimes. I think that it happens only if watches are doing some processing at the time you wanna light up diod. Maybe CPU or system are not strong enough to work many functions and light up diode in same time. But it is just mine theory..
Also here. The watch when is making a process , for example stopwatch running, maybe don't light when press the button. Not every time, maybe as Norbert say's is "cpu" problem because the light button always work when i am in Set mode and i change the timer for example. So it is a problem in model and not in my watch.

Hopefully you found an answer by now, but I had the same problem and found that you can't adjust personal info if there is a timer or stopwatch active

I had this problem too. I took to Casio assistance, got another watch and problem continue. With me it happens in the morning in the time mode
