one of the most random comment i'd ever seen..from 144p to 1080p haha..but still the inspiration that this two players has brought along with them is the reason why people love badminton. A person would intentionally absent in their work just to watch this two live in TV match

I think the first time they met was in 2004 during thomas cup
commercial TVs were using 720p since 1998, youtube already supports 240p since the first time it launched
144p / 3gp is just way too low, that's the quality of phone video

you can see how LD started to slow down from 2014 onwards as his knee's just couldn't hack it anymore. His movement speed to the front court especially slow. Amazing how he was still such a force (up until 2017-18) after slowing down so much, just goes to show how high a level the rest of his game was. I feel sad that there are so many youtube videos of him from 2016 onwards that get compared to people like Axelsen/Momota - when in reality, they just aren't in his league.

Saw a video recently explaining why flexibility in Lindan's leg strength is the key to his success. Now I start to understand why: he can comfortably and accurately return so many winners by stretching his legs far apart while maintaining in balance. No that many players can do that as far as I recall.

The commentator shocked me! Things he said about LCW (Beijing Oly. 2008) are unvelievable, so disrespectful. Every player has ups and downs, you can make a comment about the mistakes he is making but never should you doubt his efforts, and question his personality. Did he really think LCW was playing for the prize money he'd recieve from the Malaysian Govt.? I wonder what the commentator has ever achieved in his life to have made that statement. SHAME.
