Yes there is you fucking troll with shit for parents. An intentional beaching for shipbreaking is NOT a crash. It is a pre planned smooth grounding. Your mother thinks you are a burden. Your comments prove it.
+alberto ciulini wtf just saw in my mail that you commented. Opens the video and was like"wtf is this". I swear I don't remember commenting anything. And yes there is a difference idk why there shouldn't be. This is scary. I swear I didn't write* that comment lol
FrustratedNameSearch It's actually Bangladesh and not India. Bangladesh has the largest ship braking yard and scraps the majority of big ocean going vessels.
FrustratedNameSearch Doesn't matter if Turkey, India or Bangladesh. As long as it's a place where asbestos is good for your lungs and oil can be disposed into the ocean.
It was the MS Windoc, and miraculously, apparently no one was injured. "The master quickly stopped the engines and ordered an evacuation of the wheelhouse. The master and third officer left the wheelhouse by the starboard navigation bridge wing. As they proceeded down the external bridge access ladder, the span of the bridge struck the vessel in way of the wheelhouse front windows, subsequently destroying the vessel’s wheelhouse and funnel. The helmsman remained at his station in the wheelhouse and lay down on the deck as the bridge span passed overhead. He freed himself from the debris and descended by the deckhouse stairwell alive." "On 11 August 2001, while traveling through the Welland Canal, Windoc was hit by Bridge 11 in Allanburg, Ontario. The accident caused minor damage to the vertical lift bridge, and destroyed the ship's wheelhouse and funnel. The vessel caught fire, and was later declared a constructive total loss, but there were no reported injuries, no damage to the $6-$8 million cargo, and no pollution to the waterway. The Marine Investigation Report concluded "it is likely that the [vertical lift bridge] operator's performance was impaired while the bridge span was lowered onto the Windoc."
The point of the comment is they're beachings not crashes. Beachings are purposely done and a crash is something you can't avoid or unintentional. Why i even need to explain this i don't know. *****
I'm no expert but it seems like a lot of these "crashes" happened at the same place.... And they looked intentional. Also I noticed a bunch of have dismantled ships at the same location.... I somehow get the feeling that thats a place where they retire ships...
+321ozzy That Accident was in Port Augusta, South Australia. The vessel's in the colision was a Bulk Carrier and Fishing Trawler / Fishing Research vessel. No lives were lost / No injuries.

I really like how some of these "Ship Crash" videos use scrap yard parking as "accidents". They run ships aground for scrapping. It is not an accident. gheez.
Some of these are at shipbreaking yards, the ships are going to be demolished, they run then up onto the beach like that on purpose. All the ones where there are already half-demolished ships already on the same beach, this is the case.
1:56 I've been on this ferry a few times.. it was named "île de beauté" and belonged to French company SNCM. I traveled a few times on it between Nice & the Mediterranean island of Corsica in the 1990s / early 2000s. Beautiful ship! Sad to see it end like this
1:17 guy filming: " hey bob, aren't you gonna run away from this huge ship coming right into your face?" "Bob the sailor: I dont even bother anymore. These captains always drunk ruining my ships"
How the fuck can two boats crash head on at the middle of the friggin ocean? Did they had some sort of stupid argument over the radio whose boat is more awesome.
They charge to the dock in an effort for beaching... if you notice the other ships there, they are being dismantled. So it's kind of a last hurrah for those decommissioned vessels.
There is a good reason for all the ships on the beaches: they will cut them into pieces. Those scenes are no crashes or accidents. It´s a hard business in those countries.
derpeter110 Actually its there final resting place. They take off the steel (and scrap the ship) because its old and maybe it could of been low-on-money business.
+Ethan Holter That was the fault of the bridge tender. He lowered the bridge before the ship passed through. This happened in Canada. Turned out the tender was drunk. He got fired. The shipping company got a lot of money.
2:22 Gotta give credit to the builder of that bridge.
True 😂
The boat was piece of shit
They knew how to build one sturdy bridge
comment is 2:22 and likes is 222
Strong bridge
3:29 that mans just flexing on all of us like “I bet your boat isn’t this big”
There's a difference between a boat crash and a ship that's being intentional beached. So it can be stripped down.
No there isn't
+Daneil Petersen Explain??

Big chunk of those were on-purpose landings at breaker yards. Probably in India.
No its mainly turkey

0:09 reminds me of Madagascar
Wow yeah lol
Most of these are just ships going into shipyards where they will be stripped and sold
Aidan A Yeah, full steam ahead and aim for the beach.
***** point is ,, its not crashing. its a controlled beaching. ,
I WAS GOING TO SAY EXACTLY THAT. EXACTLY YOUR WORDS.
The point of the comment is they're beachings not crashes. Beachings are purposely done and a crash is something you can't avoid or unintentional. Why i even need to explain this i don't know. *****

I really like how some of these "Ship Crash" videos use scrap yard parking as "accidents". They run ships aground for scrapping. It is not an accident. gheez.
Finally someone know
+John Bond Really....they're kinda obviously at a scrap yard, too.
+John Bond You quote "accidents". Where in the video or description does it say they are accidents. All i see is a bunch of crashing ships.
+John Bond It's all about getting money from false clips
+Josh Moberly Well they aren't crashing sometimes. They park on the sand because they're parking. They need to wait for the tie to get them...
half of these are ships about to be made to scrapmetal. stop putting these in here. that's not a shipcrash!
Dude, they gotta fill up these videos somehow, & not a whole lotta ship crashes are filmed
Some times they beach boats for repairs

Most of these are intentional beachings at a scrapyard.
While this might be traumatizing to others, this was satisfying to me.

Watching from "Down Under" NewZealand.
I watched this video years ago. Glad to see it’s still up
0:38 "Uh captain which buttons reverse?"
That was an intentional beaching, as are several of these. The ships are decommissioned so they beach them and strip them of their valuable parts.
John England yeah I know
+John England or repairs and their is not a dry dock available

That one is fake
The last one must be after the tsunami in Japan.
