- Happy #TransDayofVisibility today we celebrate the trans community and educate in order to fight stigma. i went online telling all the guys I'm TRANSGENDER! this video is meant to be light hearted. obviously i want to be as educational as possible but i want to have fun at the same time! often times i get such a crazy reaction from people telling them i'm trans... this reaction is usually because "they didn't know" or "couldn't tell" which i want to highlight. someones gender identity shouldn't matter! we r diverse, strong and loved. . i realize i have a huge platform to stand for something i believe in and that's EQUALITY 4 ALL! trans rights r human rights. happy #TDOV we celebrate today and everyday :)

I really enjoyed this video! This just shows people are so rigid in their ways. This was the first video of hers I've seen, and I couldn't stop smiling and I didn't know why. My parents are really against the trans community and I'm Christian, but I don't think it's a sIn. I do think some trans people, as in young people claiming they are trans, a lot of them do it just for the community or attention, but I know she's genuine. Gender is the range of roles and characteristics that are associated with masculinity and feminity. Gender Identity is a feeling/identity that corresponds to one's feelings masculinity, femininity, or androgyny. Someone's gender is independent from their sex.
To specifically say chromosomes defines one identity and sex is ignorant and also conveniently forgets that intersex people exist...
