- Another fairly easy section. The nurses and doctors are, of course, tougher than other enemies, but you can get rid of them easily with the shotgun. I recommend that you try getting the hammer before doing anything else, to save ammo.

I remember the uneasy feeling when, playing SH for the first time, I went back to the elevator and find that 4 button which wasn't there before. And then 7:53 the scary music started to play, warning there was something worst behind the 3rd floor door... and I literally frost in place at the sight of the nurse at 15:30, just standing there, motionless, but with the parasite clearly indicating she's dead, and the radio won't stop warning me... There will never be another game as scary as the original Silent Hill.
When everything starts locking up behind you know something bad is about to do down quick
It's creepy to think that the doctors send nurses are all dead, but are still being puppeteered by the parasites
this is arguably the scariest game in the franchise. I will never forget coming here for the first time. Thank god for that emergency hammer in the basement.
This game was created by Japanese. According to East Asian belief, people have to build only three floors for building. Fourth floor means curse or something evil will come after you. Hospital should have only 3 floors. But Alchemilla hospital has 4th floor appearing as the gateway to otherworld. This absolutely remarks symbol of curse and darkness.
They don't only have to have three floors; they skip the fourth floor. So you'd have floor 1, 2, 3 and then 5.

Trippy. When i worked in a 13 floor prison each mid floor was dark and full of pipes for maintenance. So our floors went 1 maintenance 3 maintenance 5 maintenance so on and so on. The first time i got stuck on floor 4 which was a maintenance floor the doors opened to a dark empty hallway with nothing but pipes it reminded me of silent hill

I reached this hospital for the first time when I was about 12. Scared the shit right out of me. Stopped playing and tried again years later!

Yesterday I played through the hospital but I never got the maps 😷 I kept thinking, "I can always go back for them". I spent half an hour going through the entire level after clearing it all trying to find where to go before finding the cabinet to push, I will never make that mistake again lol
Boy, that bloody hospital reminds me a lot of the Dark World from a Link to the Past, lol

My mom let me play this when i was 4 or 5 and we played it all the way through. This and Resident Evil and other horror games. Im 27 now
no offense but that was irresponsible of her. this game isn't meant for kids to play.
@@hypnos9336 not everyone is weak minded. These games desensitized me to horror stuff. Even in real life situations dark abandoned buildings , night time forrest , none of that is scary because i played these as a kid
