Mr. Pekin, you can actually ward your own raptors and just Q them for a bigger heal than you get from lane-minions if you're in a situation where you're too low to walk up.
Just a simple trick that can help you stay in lane.
The reason I love Pekin's gameplay videos, beyond their sheer entertainment value, is because he takes great care in explaining his decisions, ranging from seemingly insignificant micro all the way to the broadest of macro. Not only that, but he also attempts to explain the enemy's decisions, or even the decisions they *should* be making, had he been in their place. For bronze trash such as myself, this is extremely helpful; I've learned so much from him.
Thank you for the insight regarding inhib and super minions at 17:00 - 18:00. A well-explained reminder that spawning 90g treasure chests for 3 minutes straight for your opponent is not always beneficial to your team if you can't utilize it.

As much as I enjoy playing league, it’s baffling to me how people can let themselves go to this extreme when playing ranked or hell, even in norms.

Wonderful. - Boss vid, funny timing had just watched an elite500 vid and tried the champ, and boom a vlad vid. Pretty sick.
It's interesting to watch Pekin play Vlad after mainly watching Elite500 play him. Like, the differences are very notable. Pekin looking for roams, whilst Elite believes that every CS is worth NEVER roaming on Vlad for unless your garunteed a kill or assist for Dark Seal stacks. Elite also believes Vlad has the highest synergy with Mejai's in the game, thus making it a core must build item every game, because even if you lose stacks, you'll eventually build them back up with Vlad's teamfight. Or warding Raptors for bigger Q sustain to stay healthier in tough lanes.

Little tip for vlad his e at low levels (1 or two points in it) if you tap it very quickly when a caster minion wave is under tower the tower shot will leave all the minions on 1 hp making it easy to last it

one thing you forgot to mention is that e slows enemies and if you use it quicky the e wont slow you down and only slows them
No actually, it only slows down Vladimir if you get to the point where it would slow enemies
Team flaming eachother before you get to carry items pretty much sums up my vlad experience as well.
I haven't seen any other comment mentioning it so, when you died at 4:15 I'm pretty sure you actually waited too long and did a normal Q, not empowered. missed it by a few milliseconds

Pekin, at the first death, where Lee got you, when it happens to me, I have the mentality of fighting to survive(*NOT TO KILL), and not of running towards my tower which, in our brains, equals protection and a safezone, its not that. I would sidestep upwards(which is more risky if he hits, you die he escapes with 1 tower shot) but also if he misses he cant do anything, and they dont expect you sidestep that way. From my experience with Vlad, I realize, now... its heavily involved in sidestepping skillshots, you learn that from playing him a lot + its very important, your only way to defend yourself, W is for more aggravated stuff when gap closers are on you or just need to, you know get out from anything that kills or immobilizes you
I think he should’ve held pool against ekko right before. He had phase rush proc of his auto so he could run easy and if lee still chose to bank even if he hit his q Pekin would have q+pool then tap e with 2 tower shots to kill lee. But harder to see in the moment than in hindsight. Plus it could also go lee doesn’t frank at all. But still I think holding pool is correct there. No hate at all fully aware pekin is a better player than myself by a wide margin just a little analysis for fun is all

Love that Video again but my problem isn't solvoed how to play vladimir. I only played him in aram and the enemy team destroyed me. I dont know when I should use which ability
e and q have short cd so you can use them whenever you can. w is the only one that you have to use at the right time. Use it to dodge key spells (high dmg/cc) and reposition to hit big E's. He's a late game scaler so play safe early and play around item spikes.
Something I don’t think enough people talk about when playing vlad is how heavy you want to rely on your ability to kite with your abilities. Look for q hits like you look for free auto trades it actually has around the same (or maybe exact same? Idk is muscle memory for me) range as your auto so practice that. Your e is a slow so use it to control your opponent’s movement to get damage with q. W you use to dodge major cc or heavy damage. Play it by eyesight, learn what you can and can’t dodge and practice. Also with your e you can cast q before you release it to hit a very fast damage combo and cut q animation. Hope this helps some
