Eric is a fucking legend. What game dev individually repairs people's game files, uplands all his osts, doesn't lock anything behind paywalls, created and managed their own game completely alone (meaning stuff like art, music, coding,, story,, design, etc...)for years upon years, and only NOW decided to form a team to help, just so we could get more amazing content.
He really is a gift, his game has helped me so much.
Isn't his team like just one other guy? It's really impressive if it's just two people at it(Minus translation)
He's helped a lot of people including me, you rarely get people out there who are dedicated to treating their games with dignity and respect :)

Both Volcano Mines themes are so damn good, they really make me feel like a badass in a dangerous dungeon full of badass mobs, which is why it’s perfect! It is so well made
let’s be honest, ape could have charged us for the 1.5 update and most of us would buy it anyway. yet he chose to give this expanded world as an update for free. and that tells a lot. personally, i can’t express how grateful i am with words, but thank you for not giving up. thank you for this wonderful adventure.

Eric Barone is a freaking god to me... he did everything himself. From code to graphics to music, intricate storytelling, well rounded characters and deep seeded dialogue. How one person is capable of such an achievement is beyond me.

I still don't think any OST is going to beat "It's a Big World Outside" that you hear on your first day of spring. It always reminds me of my first ever save, loading in for the first time and being so excited to play. I never knew that would lead to 500+ hours of pure enjoyment and love for this masterpiece of a game. ConcernedApe, you are my favourite thing

1.5 is the BEST THING to come out of 2020-2021 and, as a console owner, I haven't even played it yet. So that's saying something. Concerned Ape--you're an artist, man. Stardew Valley is one of my all-time favorite games ever, and you did it all on your own. That's insane. You deserve a standing ovation.

For you to make a game which improves and add some new features that were not present from those older titles, it's truly remarkable. It has been a tradition for me to play through the game once a year, and this update helped even more on ending my year of 2020 on a positive note. Thank you for bringing all of us a game we can cherish and that already feels nostalgic enough to want to always come back to when we want to feel at home.

Hey, not sure if you or anyone else will see this, but I just want to say thank you for this game. I started playing it during a verrrrrrrrrry low point in my life, and it was able to get me through those dark times. The thought of waking up to work on my farm and romancing my chosen bachelor (Shane, who is the best one; fight me, if you want.), silly as it might be, really did motivate me to keep going and brought me moments of joy in an otherwise dark time. I know I'm not the only one who is going through tough times - 2020 was a rough year in so many ways. But the thought of a single person making something so beautiful and intricate for others to enjoy makes me smile. Thank you again, and I can't wait to see what else you can make.
