Kerem speaks perfect English. But he did have an advantage of living here in Texas for many years, he has an american/texan accent when speaking English. I don't know much about Kivanc but he speaks pretty good English too.
Akin also lived and studied in California his English is great. Cab is pretty good too
He doesn't have a Texas accent, he has an L.A. accent. Matthew Mconaughey has southern accent, Kerem does not. And yes, he did live in the US, and in 8 more countries. The only Turkish actors who speak perfect English are Kerem Bürsin and Ilker Kaleli, Kerem with L.A. accent and Ilker British.

One thing I find common in all of them is that they all have very deep, rich and thick vocals while speaking English. It's kinda addictive.
Actually their voice are deep when they speak Turkish as well. Turkish people usually have such a thick and deep voice.

It's just because of that in Turkish we have so many " T " and when we try to speak English , even the word should be pronouncing quietly and soft , that " t " sound is a problem for us .

I don't get why turkish accent is not appreciated. Since these people are turkish they can have an accent and that is totally normal.Unless you study abroad you will have an accent.I have never seen a comment that says" This french person has a french accent, he should learn english properly". British and American accents aren't the only way to properly speak english.

It might be because he was born in Switzerland and raised there until the age of eight.

İlker Kaleli zaten yıllarca Londra’da oyunuculuk eğitimi almış çok iyi bir tiyatrocudur. Aksanı da fark ederseniz ingiliz aksanına doğru kayıyor. Londra Müzik ve Drama Sanatları Akademisinde eğitim alan iki türkten biridir. Diğeri ise Haluk Bilginer’dir onun da dili çok iyidir.
Yanlış anlaşılma olmasın da adamın İngiliz aksanı yok ki Türkçe konuşurken İngiliz aksanına kaysın?

Kerem bursin is definitely the most Fluent English speaker among the Turkish celebs but I am really surprised by these two they are really good in english too. 3:22 and 7:20

American celebrities could speak perfect english but could not speak turkish as turkish ones,,,

I mean, yeah. If you can speak fluidly, it means you're pretty good at that language.
Speaking fluently, articulate, good vocabulary and correct grammar, if they have all these then they're already perfect. We cannot expect actors from other countries speak USA /British accent.

I think they’re all great in English especially grammatically (which is more important than the accent honestly) and coming to accents of course they’ll have a different accent as Turkish is their mother language

Yes grammar is very important.however , sometimes the accent can be so thick that it can take away from a smooth translation. All of these actors have very good English speaking skills.

I have watched this video a few times and I never get tired of it. I could listen to them all speak day and night, in Turkish, English, or gibberish it doesn't matter. I do love their accents though. I think a lot of us Americans love a beautiful accent. My goodness, Kivanç is so absolutely beautiful. All of the other actors are amazing too (especially Baris) but Kivanç is breathtaking. Oh, Aras is a living doll.
I have gotten use to listening to Turkish . I agree with you that we Americans love listening to people with accents and different languages .. I would love to learn about 6 at least.. Turkish , Arabic, definitely Spanish and French, Italian and Russian .. also the African one with the clicks.😉

@@bupsmertozkal Nowadays the Turkish celebrities are being known everywhere cause is the time of the Turkish series. But they are celebrity they must learn to be fluent or near fluent. That gives another feeling to the fans when they hear their speech directly without translator.

Yeah Kerem and İlker have very good accents.. Also, the English spoken by others is very clear and beautiful so after all, it is quite normal for these people to have a second language accent..
Both of them have lived for years outside turkey, hence the american and british accents respectively. Others are speaking fine as well, but with their native accents.

I love the accent. I think it's awesome 👌. I stopped watching American shows after I seen my first Turkish series which was Cukur and after that I never stopped watching them. They are excellent 👏. I plan to visit Turkey one day. It looks absolutely beautiful. I've been doing alot of reading on Turkey 🇹🇷. I am a Canadian citizen and Ukraine descent although I live in the USA. I am stuck to Turkey like glue. Much respect to the people and their country 🙏

@@mmac9077 well, yes, but he grew up in English spoken countries like UK and USA, so his main language was English, I've read that he had to practice his Turkish with a teacher when he had to do his first series (Zeynep), my kids speak Spanish at home but they are Scottish, their English is better than their Spanish, that's what I meant in my comment.

@34fb No, he isn’t. He was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He has lived in numerous countries including Scotland, Indonesia, the UAE, Turkey, Malaysia, and moved with his family to the United States at the age of 12. He also graduated from Emerson College's, California.
Tatlitug has a more neutral accent and he made sense when he speaks.

Kerem Bursin speaks english more fluently and more clearly above them all,..his having an american accent as if he was born and grew up there. Even the construction of his grammar is unbelievable,..is he a real turkish or what?..thats the first thing to run in your brain the moment he started to speak english. I love and admire him so much.
