I just saw THE GAFFER do this trick a few days ago. Maybe longer, but it was awesome.
Gaffer is super amazing. I have learned so many card tricks from him, but more importantly. I have learned many sneaky moves that i never thought could be done in card magic.
This crimping idea is a great move for lifting the cards at any spot in the deck. Crimping a card can be used for many other tricks and ideas.
M.L.T. MAGIC and GAFFED ACADEMY are my 2 favorite CARD MAGIC CHANNELS.

Great card trick, MLT.
I love how you and the Gaffer give each other credit for your tricks that each other performs and teaches.
I commented on Gaffers channel that i usually dont like giving the deck for spectators to handle, i case they cant shuffle, or if the drop some cards.
I mentioned to Gaffer, since i dont give the deck to a spectator, i could call this trick, 2 CHANCES, and reveal their card, the 2nd time. Or call it, 1ST TIME ONLY, and load a 9 in the 8th position, beliw the crimp on the bottom of deck, and instead of 2 times , just perform it with dealing to the 9th card, revealing the selected card. TAAA DAAA...
