I still remember the first time I heard 'Another Day' in 1997 on the radio,
as I was driving home alone from yet another church youth dance, where I
was too chicken to talk to anybody and not one guy asked me to dance.
'Another Day' came on the radio and it was so beautiful and cool, and I had
to repeat "Buckshot Lefonque" in my head over and over the whole ride
home so I could remember it and write it down when I got home. I did,
and the next time I was at Best Buy, I happened to stumble into the CD.
It was the first CD I ever bought, and I still have it. One of my
favorites and I still play it often. Now I have a teenager son who plays trumpet and is joining
jazz band in high school this fall. Love Buckshot Lefonque!
This is my favorite tune off of the MIB soundtrack. Ah to relive my childhood!

First time I heard this song, on the greatest radio station on the planet, WXPN in Philadelphia, I was coming upriver from Marcus Hook after docking a ship there. I said to me deckhand, "WTF was that?!!" This had to be in 95 or 96 I think..
I was blown away by it and had to call 'XPN a couple of days later to find out who the artist was.
I could listen to that on a continuous loop.

I'll be blunt: I have no idea how this is connected to MIB, but it's still the best thing on the soundtrack CD.
I was about to enter high school when the album was released.
I have zero recollection of this being in MIB but I will ALWAYS remember first hearing it as the 'B Side' to Will Smith's title track from that movie and I STILL fucken love it!
