I don't have X or anything, just CZcams and I don't really know what's going on, but I hear where you're coming from. One of the reasons I started supporting Arsenal was because I felt that the Arsenal fan base was, or maybe still is, one of the classiest. I don't know if this is still true, but it can definitely be observed that the language used by fans is increasingly negative, unfriendly, impatient and entitled. Or maybe it's this group of people who make the most noise and that's why it feels that way. That's why we need more people like you to make these voices heard too.

Long time listener, first time posting. Social media in all of its forms is largely a cesspool. I have seen its negative impacts on my daughter despite her thick skin and many others. Declan and other public figures are going to receive hate, it's part of the job sadly. It's not right but there is absolutely no excuse for attacking his partner. I prefer to not give any further voice to those that make these kind of comments but understand and appreciate your comments. Keep up the good work, it is much appreciated.
As always you handle situations like this with dignity, class and respect. I’ve not seen the original post and frankly have no interest in seeing it. People that troll are unhappy people with no life to be proud off. They are miserable and lonely and will remain that way forever. Didn't even realise this wasn't the first time trolls were mocking his girlfriend. There's nothing wrong with his girlfriend btw (not that you should mock or abuse her regardless). Didn't even realise this wasn't the first time trolls were mocking his girlfriend. There's nothing wrong with his girlfriend btw (not that you should mock or abuse her regardless). Declan Rice staying with his childhood sweetheart says a lot about his character and how grounded he is. They seem like a lovely couple.
Criticise a player for his/her performance but attacking their families and loved ones is an absolute disgrace. Rice's success in football not only comes down to hard work but also the balance and support he has in his life. As the adage suggests, "Behind every great man, is a great woman"

Football players are human as well and have a life away from the club. It’s shame what ever has gone on but I agree the abuse has to stop whether it’s racism or just name calling. Some people aren’t worth the oxygen they breathe. Keep up the good work Tom. Hard to get up on the weekend but I still listen to the show when I’m having my morning brew.

It is cowardly to hide behind a platform, and anonymity, to hurt or embarrass someone who has done nothing to deserve it. By contrast, it is courageous (especially in this day and time) to come out on video to call out such horrendous behavior. Props to you for your brave call for sanity, Tom. The only thing worth discussing about Declan Rice is how he's a bargain at £105m, and he's just getting started at Arsenal.

I have no idea what was said, but online abuse is disgusting and should be punishable. You’re a good man Tom. Just know there’s thousands more quiet, good people out there than the handful of arseholes who get attention for their vitriol.
I know people want to act like this is only an issue on Twitter but Instagram is getting progressively worse and fast. I think the larger conversation is about online discourse in general people need to remember to just be decent humans.
