why do you go runaans first now and then full crit instead of kraken?

I plan to make a video explaining this, long story short I play AD item (BF/pickaxe) into Runaans - IE - LDR. The reasoning is that you stack crit very fast, 3 items you have 75% crit + IE bonus damage + armor pen, it makes you a really strong 3 item champion by sacrificing your 1 item spike you would get from building Kraken/Bork. My take is that on one item you're pretty useless anyway as an adc + a lot of the time on 1 item you're still in lane so you can't really influence the map. It's not a new strategy, people used to run this setup in the past, I've consistently been winning more with this build, try it and let me know how it feels!
I remember sometime near the first crit changes and exhaust nerfs that this was meta. You would get bf into runaan into ie
