Mid-Rivers Equine Centre: Sarapin & Mesotherapy Treatment For Back Pain

Dr. Baxter is administering Sarapin injections to relieve back pain. The needles are inserted into deep muscle trigger (acupuncture) points in the caudal thoracic and lumbar areas and Sarapin is injected. Sarapin is a derivative from the Pitcher plant. It has anti-inflammatory properties and blocks pain. In this case Dr. Baxter used Mesotherapy in conjunction with the Sarapin injections for additional pain relief.
