- On this episode of Point of Relation , Thomas discusses two forces that drive us as human beings: the will to become, and the will to belong. He explores how our formative parental relationships can either encourage or subdue our drive to become our authentic selves and how our early strategies to compensate for scarcity can influence our path as adults.
Thomas emphasizes the relationship between becoming and creativity and notes the harm caused by inhibiting a child’s freedom to be themselves. Ultimately, we all seek nourishing relationships imbued with supportive energy. And although trauma tends to reduce our spiritual energy, we can learn to reconnect to the source and get back to a place of abundance.
This episode was recorded as part of the 2018 Celebrate Life Festival.

Thomas Hübl, thank you for your kind words.
Can't tell you how this pod rang true to me.
First of all, I wish I had his gift of being able to put emotions into words like he does.
I am 72 yrs old and try to stay refreshed everyday, with a goal & purpose, but, it gets hard, when people don't notice you because of your age and you become invisible .
I find myself in a deficits of trying to stay busy & be of service .
I have my art as I have always been a creative & an Empath, so when I was younger, it was hard but now, even harder.
Maybe you could give us some direction in dealing with old age.
Anyway thank you again for kind understanding of all, like how you mentioned the Devine ❤
We appreciate the kind words and are so glad this resonated - Team Thomas Hübl
Thank you
❤
I find how Thomas explains are one of the most accessible ways to understand our intricate humanist experience and divine connection
Abundance and scarcity really landed with me. It has framed my future. Thank you
THANKS TO YOU THOMAS AND THE GREAT PEOPLE WITH YOU, I LOVED IT. 🙏 VERY TOUCHED AND GRATEFUL🪷
Asa preteen, I decided to not be a problem to my mother because my brothers were creating such chaos. No safety, no support. I now realize that my right brain hemisphere did not develop normally (with adequate love and support), so I compensated by becoming overly left-brained and all-logical.
