This is a remix of the original song. Thanks for reacting to my fave band!

Definitely one of my favorite bands. Mark King is regarded as one of the best slap bass players. Check out their instrumentals The Pursuit of Accidents and Mr. Pink. Or the haunting "Lying Still". And another favorite "Two Hearts Collide".

When the Berlin Wall fell, my first thought (after thinking about the political ramifications and about the people affected in Germany, of course) was "Oh man, Level 42's gonna have to change that lyric about West Berlin." But then it occurred to me, even after the wall came down there's still a west part of Berlin and you can still call it that.

I wish you'd had a live version of this song to assess instead of this one. They are so fantastic live!

Some Level 42 song suggestions: "It's over" from the album Running in the Family, "Take a look" from the album Staring at the Sun, "Physical Presence" from the album World Machine. Personally I believe songs from those albums are very good to start with, and it was also their most commercial period. But I love the early albums too. However Out of sight out of mind is not one of my Level 42 favorites. But the sound of Level 42 is always great and unique. 😊

Try reacting to "Something in Red" by Lorrie Morgan. See if you can follow the story she's telling through the motif of clothing. Here's the link: czcams.com/video/rkSt1hv19WE/video.html

Level 42 It's pretty confidential for me since the only title I know of this group is "Running in My Family" in 1987 and that's all. In fact I forgot this group so discreet in France. Ok i like it , thank's cynthia for (re)discover
Level 42 c'est assez confidentiel pour moi puisque le seul titre que je connais de ce groupe c'est "running in my family" en 1987 et c'est tout . en fait j'avais oublier ce groupe si discret en France .

Love you chose Level 42 to review. This is an interesting version...not the original released track as far as I remember. Definitely, not the polished final vocal mix I know and love the best. But, still, kool to hear. Got to do Something About You next.

Hi my dear... to be honest, this particular song is not one of their best for me, although still quite good.... I remember they had a big hit in the 80s, called "Lessons in love", which I like better, but anyway... Fun fact about this band : The singer and bassist Mark King was once considered to be the world's best bass player.
Your analysis of the text at the end was very nice, as always... and one more thing that I HAVE to mention :
The title of this song does definitely NOT apply to this reaction video... how can anyone get YOU out of his mind after seeing your pretty face and your stunning outfit ??? So obviously, "Out of sight, out of mind" doesn't work with the beautiful host of this lovely channel. ;-)
    Hugs and kisses : Gerry

Not much of a reaction but this track is about 40 years old so the younger generation won't be a fan.
