1. French is not a local language.
2. It is perceived as very insulting to invade people’s lives like that all for content, these are human beings trying to make an honest living for goodness’s sake. You can see how uncomfortable the lady peeling the cassava is.
3.What’s your intention to go to Yaounde and focus on the 1% negative slum? As if mainstream media is not driving this narrative about African countries already.
4. What’s the point of traveling to a country to highlight the negative part? Unless you have an agenda to propagate . Try to put yourself in people’s shoes then go from there.
Your video was good quality so you have a great camera and please think of the points I mentioned.

Hello, I'm a cameroonian and I would like to clarify some points for the viewers :
(First of all nice video !)
- This neighborhood is one of the slums of Yaounde (You can find the same kind of places in New dehli). So, indeed, there are better, nicer (Cleaner) places in the city and in the country.
- In that neighborhood, there are not 2 million people as mentionned by your guide but far less.
- The people causing trouble and doing drugs are a MINORITY annoying everyone. Most people are just trying to make a living peacefully.

Yaounde has a population of about 4 millions persons. Briqueterie represents almost nothing in Yaounde population!
