【ペルソナ6】PERSONA 6 VERGS OST III #23 - THE FINAL BATTLE (RYUZEN BOSS BATTLE IV)

"You.."
You look at Ryuzen's tattered body, as his card echoes his low net value.
"That pest of a dragon is gone. I have to thank you..."
He walks towards you, just as you do the same.
"..Now all that's left is cleansing the world of Eris's influence. Your precious friendships, your ideals, your aspirations, this market, VERGS...everything is gone."
You grip your card tighter.
"We are the only ones left in this world..."
Ryuzen now faces you.
"Now come with me Eve...let us build the world together, just like before."
You look at the hand that is offered to you by Ryuzen.
"Together we will build a world solely on virtue and law. Where greed and malice no longer affects human hearts. The evils of the world will finally disappear along with Eris...."
The protagonist closes her eyes and remembers her friends.
Usagi was burdened with revenge, as an unfortunate accident took away his brother and arm away, leaving him with a constant reminder of the day he failed him. His father passed away from guilt unable to move on. And so he sought revenge.
But Usagi was able to finally forgive himself and move past revenge and accept that there was a bigger picture at play. And that his family was connected to people who were killing others involved in the market.
"Beat that asshole!"
Naomi's innocence was taken the day she lost her grandmother in a blazing flame. Her eyes were permanently damaged, as a reminder of the ones she failed to protect. Her older brother was killed by people looking for the fortune her family had in connection with the market. And as she grew up, more people died in front her as she continued on unable to see their deaths with her own eyes.
But Naomi has built a sense of trust now, allowing people to help her and be her eyes.
"I don't even need eyes to see how this bastard will go down! Get him!"
Chiyo was an orphaned child who wanted to know about love. But the love made her feel trapped, blind to it's temptation. Her actions contributed to the end of so many lives, as she battled her guilt everyday.
But Chiyo overcame this binding love. Instead of being trapped, she felt free in this new companionship. Her friends showed her that their were different types of love, and loves that could be rejected anytime.
"Don't let that monster get to you! Fight!"
Yuuna. The leader of VERGS. The expectation of her father's company and over trillions of dollars in the grasp of her hands. She felt empty and alone, even treating Naomi as something of a pet for amusement. Lost in her ambition, she stood at the top of her mountain. unaware of how far she had reached.
But Yuuna found out how to climb down, learning not to be afraid of her status, to treat people as equals and not competition. She learned what companionship meant and how she no longer needed to be alone standing at the top or coming back down from it.
"Show him our lives matter! Show him what human life is!"
You.
You learned to talk, you opened your heart to everyone, and learned from them. You adapted to the people around, and became the best version of yourself. You accepted yourself as a woman and the beauty you held, no longer hiding behind male stereotypes you could hid yourself in. You faced a darkness like no other, fighting all the emotions, the guilt and sadness you had built within yourself. And you accepted it. Because..
"...that's what humans do..."
"What?' Ryuzen says annoyed.
"The world has moved past you Ryuzen. Give it a rest..."
Ryuzen screams at the protagonist.
"Do you not understand the state of the world. Look around you Eve! Eris influence has spread throughout the world! Everyone is either gone or has turned into a fiendish monster. Without each other, the world will never survive! As long as her influence is here, we will neve be free."
The protagonist speaks.
"Damning the world to another way of life isn't how a human should live. We decide our own destinies. We have the freedom to judge and determine our own darkness and overcome them. Every gamble we take gives us a purpose to keep on living, to try our chances next time. It gives us personality and uniqueness to our very souls. It allows us to fight, even when the odds aren't staked in our favor. It allows people to flourish in light and darkness, to be in balance with their own nature. It shapes us into beautiful creatures who are capable of making decisions and taking risks. Even Eve fought against Eris, not to cleanse the world, but to put it back on a fair level for everyone. Eris sought destruction and constant change, but Eve sought for a bright future for humanity, she saw how much value we held. The fact we survived this long even under Eris influence proves we are capable, that we can fight and thrive!"
The protagonist gets her S.M card ready as it echoes it's low net value remaining.
"We have the strength! And on behalf of everyone, I will fight for that! For everyone's worth!!"
This is the final battle.

@assininesyndrome4901 Boy, I've got my work cut out for me. I'm basically writing down the details for each of the video descriptions so that I can get the story organized and start planning the game. There's going to be two versions of this game, a sort of prototype in rpg maker, and then something more involved in another, less limiting engine once I have a bit more game development expertise.
