This is just amazing, it feels like a new era of drumming journey of George Kollias. Such a huge impact event that another new pedal is made for George. After long years with Axis, this is just crazy :D Same as being now a Zildjian player. :D

I love how they combined the power of chain drive and the technology of direct drive

Looks nice but my Tama 310 Speed Cobras work so well I cant imagine this being much better or any better really. I like them even better with the Cobra Coils installed. It feels like an extension of my foot now, a sensation I never had with any of the lower priced pedals I was playing.

I went from the Cobras to these and they are on another level, no comparison, the Cobra is still a great pedal though.

I’m a professional drummer. I had alot of options/settings on my last pedal, I didn’t even know what worked best for me. I like to keep it simple as well.
Also the lifetime warranty, that’s really great.
    I think I need this pedal 😊

For what design element? The only similarity is the direct drive and even that is slightly different.

Now if the price was just as accessible... $1200.... oh well at least is guaranteed for life so if anything breaks, send it back to pearl and get it fixed.

I have the Demon Drive for six years now, and I have not seen or noticed any issues with it as long as it is properly maintained like lubricating the bearings. It is really heavy duty just by holding it to the point that it feels nothing will break like on some chain drive pedals.

I have had my demon drives for about 5 years, I am not a heavy chap but I do swivel technique with shoes on; I have noticed that my heel bearings are starting to get lateral movement on them. I wonder if it’s the swivelling that is causing this movement

Its less adjustable than my demon drive but more expensive.....

The Demon Drives are gaudy and have too many "features". Kind of like buying a Subaru to go offroading.
I think the big manufacturers make inferior designs and boast new features.

Yeah sorry George but they still look like cheap shit.
I'll stick to my Dyna syncs

Gibraltar pedal is a FAR superior pedal at less than half the price. I'm not sure why anyone would ever buy this...
