I'm SO grateful for this message!! After more than 35 years of no alcohol, I, a past tense pastor, who lost my life partner of 49 years last June, began "taking a little wine" for sleep. Brother David, I was stuck in a stronghold. In fact, as I woke up this morning, the enemy was attacking with temptation of past sins that was very strong. I prayed in the Holy Spirit for the full armor of God. After we defeated the attack, the Holy Spirit directed me to this sermon. It’s precisely the message I needed to see. Wow! Praise Jesus! Surrendering to the Holy Spirit is the way forward. Thank you for this sermon. Several truths you referenced were directly applicable to my situation, and they were absolutely true.

Spiritual warfare is the fight to believe God's truth over the enemy's lies.
One reason why its hard to take out that certain evil is that it is not accepted as sin or we put reasons to defend. Unless one becomes humble and accept the sin even how shame full it is and ask God for forgiveness, then that stronghold will be gone
I was in a United Pentecostal Church for 13 years and it has taken me years and years to get over the legalistic mindset..I had guilt and shame and spent more time at the altar..I was doing everything I knew to do but felt I was going to hell continuously for I had heaviness from generational curses or they'd preach something else and Lord I go down the rabbit hole once again..Alot of people in church were unhappy and that song climbing up the rough side of the mountain was me all day long..I'm free praise God and thankful I'm now in a God fearing, bible believing Holy Ghost filled church that is not legalistic
To God be the glory I will be free from strongholds soon.keep reaching the people though the Spirit of God.
That legalistic mindset is truly a shackle that robs one's true closeness with Jesus, and it wears down one's mind and body heavily. To be free of this shackle must be an immense blessing, as now you can really breathe, and really feel that wonderful closeness with God.🙏🏻❤️👍🏻

Pastor / Evangelist David - This message is so on time. I have heard multiple sermons on strongholds and this one definitely gets into the meat beyond the milk. What I took most from this lesson is how strongholds are not cast out like demons or unclean spirits. Strongholds are torn down by God's Word. Honestly, I am seeing strongholds continually being torn down that I had no clue existed within me until I got a revelation... many of which came from listening to your sermons and teachings.
I heard a preacher not too long ago talk about how the enemy does not attack Christians physically, but rather aims for mental or psychological challenges. He went on to say that this is why our weapons are not carnal, but rather spiritual. He like you mentioned that the flesh or temptation is not a stronghold. Temptation occurs because we are human. When Adam and Eve sinned, the sin did not occur until their mind was changed about what God originally Said. The serpent setup a stronghold or mindset, and they accepted it, and the rest is history. The enemy tried the same thing with Jesus by trying to use the Word in a manipulative manner to get Him to surrender His dominion as Adam and Eve did. The only reason why the enemy even considered tempting Jesus was because He was in human form which meant the flesh was present. But, Jesus resisted temptation by quoting scripture; the correct way to break strongholds.
I nowadays am also cautious about certain motivational quotes as I do not want to believe in me more than I do God's Word. Saying "I can do all things through Christ..." is way better than saying "I can do it" alone. Please excuse the long wordy comment. On the other hand, your messages continue to bring out the best in all of us! God bless you, your ministry, and your family. ☺

That’s why all your teeth fall out And you’ll end up with Posti’s if you don’t already have them. That’s just a government’s way of making money and keeping you on drugs. You don’t need that stuff I went to church and my friend was on the methadone clinic and I’ll put a prayer request in for her to get off of it until weeks later she was off of it. My husband is under some kind of stronghold… it came on when he began following Torah then believing in Hebrew Israelite doctrine… Now he’s left me and our 4 children… he wants to be single and free. He blames me for all of his misery. He rarely sees his kids and thinks he’s a great father… so much deception. This is the second time he’s fallen into this mindset… God restored our marriage to have it happen all over again only worst. Please pray for my family…
