If you are planning a trip to Sicily, Italy, you are probably wondering what to do on this wonderful Mediterranean island. Known for its rich history, stunning landscapes and delicious food, Sicily is a destination that offers something for everyone.
One of the most impressive places to visit in Sicily is the Etna volcano. If you prefer to venture out on your own, you can reach Etna on your own. There are buses and shuttle services that will take you to the slopes of the volcano, from where you can take a hike to the top.
How much does it cost to go up Etna? Prices vary depending on whether you opt for a guided tour or decide to explore on your own, but overall, the cost is reasonable considering the unique experience it offers. IN THE VIDEO WE GIVE YOU ALL THE OPTIONS.
FOR EXAMPLE if you are already clear that what you want is to get on the cable car
How much does the Etna cable car cost?
The current price of the funicular is 50 euros for adults, 30 for children, but it doesn't take you to the top either, you will have to pay another 28 euros per person to get as high as possible,
Another must-see place in Sicily is Taormina. If you have just one day in this charming city, be sure to visit the Ancient Theater, which offers stunning views of the sea and Mount Etna. Furthermore, strolling through the picturesque streets of Taormina and enjoying authentic Sicilian cuisine is an experience not to be missed.
How many days are necessary to see Sicily? Ideally, you should plan at least a week to explore the island's main attractions, although if you have less time, you can still enjoy a memorable visit.
Some tips for visiting Sicily include booking accommodation in advance, especially during peak season, and renting a car so you have the flexibility to explore at your own pace. Also, don't forget to try the delicious Sicilian cannoli and enjoy a good local wine during your stay.
In short, Sicily is a destination that combines history, nature and gastronomy in a unique way. From the majesty of the Etna volcano to the beauty of Taormina, there is so much to discover on this fascinating southern Italian island. Get ready for an unforgettable experience in Sicily! As we have commented in previous posts about Sicily, driving in the main cities of the island is a challenge, the traffic is terrible. That said, once you leave the big cities, EVERYTHING IS EASIER. The roads that ascend Etna (specifically to the Rifugio Sapienza - 1,920 meters above sea level) are in very good condition.
    Conditions and views are fabulous.
