I will say a lot of artist including, Beyoncé, Janet, Brandy, Whitney, etc do not get the opportunity to have so many false starts to their debut album. My hope is that this album really lives up to the wait, because Normani has been granted something that almost no other artist has been granted. Which is time.
That's actually a great point. The singles are good, I'll say that. But I can't say for certain the singles sum up the entire direction of the album - we'll just have to wait & see if the album lives up to the wait.

Normani is realy giving us a 90s rollout. she in everything and everywhere. She came to WORK(worship)! respect it.
She would already need a hit single and a song in heavy rotation at radio for this to be a 90s rollout.. nothing has charted. She doesn’t even have a video out 🥴 plus Candy Paint should’ve been the main single for a comeback with a BANG, with a high energy music video dancing like she did in that TikTok video of the song.
She’s not gonna be on GoodMorning America, The Tonight Show, Live! w/ Kelly or none of that. That’s what they did in the 90s. She might do Jennifer Hudson show or something like that maybe, but it’s giving the label just releasing the album with no major push just to make something of her contract before they move on.
It’s no hype behind the album, no reason she shouldn’t have dropped with Motivation or Wild Side when she was actually at the top of the charts. There will be no tour. She’s gonna flop and go independent.
