- The Last of Us Deepfake featuring Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. This is my favorite scene from the film, and I wanted to bring it to life with the new actors that were just announced for the TV show!
This was made in a few days using Faceswap and tutorials! It's not perfect, but I think it's a great preview for the upcoming HBO show.

He doesn't have to grow a beard. They can just put a fake beard on him. Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad actually had a fake beard.
@@Wanderersea Good point. Also hope he can pull off a convincing texan accent. I believe in Pedro.
Some actors preferred that they are able to work on multiple projects and not have to worry about growing a beard. Oscar Issac can grow a beard and he might do it just for Metal Gear Solid but The bearded Snake comes much later. The first MGS, Snake was clean shaven.
He had a beard in The Great Wall. Might’ve been applied rather than grown, but they can do it for Joel as well.
@@willy4129 And if you want to see a movie where he already did a Southern accent I’d recommend Kingsman 2, although it’s inferior to its predecessor. There are some points where he actually kinda sounds like Joel in that one.

I love Pedro as Joel. He will definitely be able to capture Joel’s savagery and humanity all in one. Bella though...hmm need to warm up to her lol
