Nik is the type of American who never leaves the country. Is completly unclultured. And thinks Americans are the centre of the universe when the general consensus across the world is of the completely opposite opinion. I just got back from Czech. People are far far nicer. Or to be exact. Less annoying ones. Nik is a complete prat compared to Martin. And Martin is by far the better player. Nik goes to games because people can milk him.

Martin gives mega action but is a very veeeery solid player. Better than most if not all HCL regs. The way they were crying the other night about him joining the game was pathetic... Airball & co just can't stand NOT being the centre of attention aaaall the time
In fairness, wasn't it 6AM and they were in a 24 hour session? Dude shows up all well rested after walking out the first day because of a "meeting". I love Martin, but 100% wouldn't want to play him on no sleep. And they don't have to...

Martin was the most entertaining player HCL have had in a long time he is an incredible player brings way more action than most of the others on the table. They were all moaning because he is good in fact too good for most of them hence why he walked away in profit. Didn’t see anyone else put his full stack 4 hands in with a bluff. The guy is class I love watching him destroy other so called good players

@@alexmarinos6514 not the best player at the table, definitely a good strategic player.. i mean he tries to play in such a way that will give him the biggest advantages. if the players who've been playing 24 hours straight just lets him come in fresh and play, that's on them to allow him to have such an advantage. they can't prevent him from leaving when up big, but they certainly don't have to play with such a player

Watch the opening 20 mins of part 3 of the 24 hour game last week to see how he was bullied by a bunch of children into leaving the game. If Martin was black this would be racist. That’s fun for you to say. Imagine you sitting at a table where you have sat for almost half if not longer than half a day, with a lot and a lot of money on the table, and someone walks in that you just don’t like, or don’t like to play with, what would you do? It’s your money you can leave when you want it’s almost as if people expect people to do things whilst it’s their on decsision to do so
First of all, very weird to bring up race here. Second, Martin left while he was upm to attend a "meeting" and then showed up refreshed and well-rested to a table of sleep deprived players who had been grinding it out all night. If Martin wanted to play there so badly, he should have treated the game with more respect. He's a really strong player, so he can't expect to just do whatever he wants. That's not how it works.

I like how tries to come into the game all fresh, when everyone has been at it for hours. Then no one wants to play with him.
I learned alot about HCL after watching this stream and reading some tweets. Turns out that Nick Fertucci, or whatever the f his name is, isnt a good human being. He's kind of a pos. And the owners of HCL practically hold these players hostage. Imagine having your arm behind your back and unable to leave. Its a casino. You should be able to leave whenever and as a "promoter" , you should be able to book extra people to take their seat. If this was an amazing game, then people would be lined up to play it. I couldnt imagine walking into a home game or a casino game and not being able to leave because the owner has some "reputation" to keep up.

So I take it that these clips were taken from play prior to the Thursday session. Unquestionably, he was annoying to other players on Thursday. Had he simply tamed down the rhetoric on Thursday, he could have set himself up nicely going into the 24 hour session having potentially prevented the player imposed exclusion at 6AM Saturday. Despite being good at poker, his shortcomings in human relations may have cost him an opportunity. Could he have learned a little something or is the ego simply running?
