I would suggest to divided the video into clear sections, consider adding the name of the cities in a big, clear and readable text on screen with the heraldry colours and maybe the crest of the city.
State their names in a headline fashion at the beginning of each section and repeat the name casually every now and then. These are techniques that helps my students to retain knowledge and put value into the materia I'm teaching.
