Well, I can’t say this lead to greater Tau tactics in the future. It would be neat if it did. Titans are cool, but Mantas with rail cannons are also cool. And definitely more maneuverable.

When the Tau encountered the imperails it was rough but they adapt faster and counter the Imperails " throw more bodies " tactics and target important key figures. Knowing if one holds together the wall, it's not that hard to destroy it. Yes you may call them Naive but over time they learn and once they know how others work, they can beat the other races back.

Imperium: the thing is we have a LOT of humans that can replace the guys you have, so check this out...

Best part was right after this engagement, the Tau decided to just strap big railguns on their tanks just to snipe titans and it worked That's also when the imperium stopped deploying titans

The Tau should have surrendered or fled at the sight of an actual Titan Legion, and using Imperial property as sheilds was pretty dishonourable of the Firewarriors, rather than engaging in noble open combat against the might of the Imperium :) .
