      @@allansh828 Yeah and that's why for me it's not really a big deal and def to be expected given that's how class A operates (energy is basically converted to heat when idle and drawing current). The Ocean is the same way. You can fry an egg on that bad boy XD Also Class A = less distortion so that's also a likely reason why I prefer the Mojo and Ocean above most Amp/DACS I've tried. The Mojo specifically is just pure in every sense of the word. I don't care what any of those haters say! XD

      Haha not me! I have another DragonFly Cobalt video coming soon. Should be a real scream! 😂 I'm pretty much over this audiophile bs and have been for a while. Thanks for the love! The Red is great. People have to understand that even if there is a small difference (which I heard on like 1 or 2 tracks), it's not enough to spend an extra $100, you wouldn't be able to discern it in a blind test, and nobody really gives a crap at the end of the day. If you care that much about such an insignificant sound difference and would go out of your way to attack others over it, you have problems plain and simple. Like.. really deep-seated issues.

    Interesting take on the audioquest dacs. This review seems to go against most I have seem regarding differences. They are there. Not huge. I can see where the mojo would win against them. Only "audiophiles" are capable of "imagining" minute differences to justify the price gaps. But put them in an A-B Test, and I assure you they won't be able to consistently tell between stuff like the Red vs. Cobalt. But it doesn't take an audiofool to notice the warmth on the Mojo... just touch it and you'll know. (you may want to ask them which USB cable "sounds" best with the Mojo, though)

    • @HomeStudioBasics
      @HomeStudioBasics  Před 4 lety

      Heheh. Exactly right my friend. You can clearly tell a difference from the Mojo, and to my ears it sounds better than some lower priced stuff. The difference was pretty significant I think. The Cobalt vs. Red? You're also spot on in that I know 99% I wouldn't be able to tell if I didn't know one from the other. Even if you gave me them now and I didn't know which was which, I wouldn't be able to tell. I presume you were joking about that last sentence lol.

But then after watching many reviews about the Cobalt, especially John Darko’s review of it, it really sparked my interest and I had to have it at that point. So I impulse bought that shit son! And man am I impressed! The Cobalt combined with my Massdrop HD 6XXs was truly a game changer. The vocals were way clearer and at the forefront and the sounds just boomed at you. It’s probably the only thing I would argue Stu on. I really feel the difference between the two.

    Hey Stu, the DragonFly Red, in addition to giving more power and volume to the Senn HD 650, also manages to remove their famous "veil" that is so much talked about? I also read your article about the "veil", but I could not find this information. Since I am in the process of buying the Senn HD 650, I would like to know if the DragonFly Red + HD 650 combo is good (from what I understand the sound of the DFR is brighter, while that of the Senn is darker and "softer. "), if together they sound well and detailed and if the DFR manages to remove the "veil "from the headphones, making them sound as divine as I hope. Thanks for any reply!
    (PS: I'm sorry for the thousand questions I'm asking you during these days, but I need to be sure about the purchase I'm going to make. On the other hand, I am watching a lot of your videos and I am reading as many articles on your site 🤣)

    • @HomeStudioBasics
      @HomeStudioBasics  Před 3 lety +2

      Hey man! Yeah it's not going to remove it completely, but the DF Red is certainly a very open, spacious, and crisp sounding DAC. It will certainly help in that regard, yes. It's one of the few instances where you *can* really discern a pretty audible difference between it and other DACS. Highly recommended. I still use one almost daily! You really can't go wrong. I will say that it's just a stick so the lack of on-board features may bother you after awhile. The good news is that you can use the combo line in/out jack to hook up to a separate amp later on if you want.
      Much appreciated though! Any traffic to my site always helps me out in the long run :) Let me know if you have questions. You could also just get a 6XX and not really have to worry about that veil. Check this out: homestudiobasics.com/the-5-best-audiophile-headphones-for-under-500/

    Nice one Stuart. Entertaining and informative. I didn’t hear you mention the Dragonfly Black so -
    I have a some rhyme, just to pass the time.
    Is the Dragonfy Black yesterday’s DAC?
    Does the Dragonfly Red leave it for dead?
    Now you says, Cobalt gets no more praise.
    Three hundred more bucks; that just sucks.
    The Dacport HD gets the third degree;
    It’s quite physical, but no more rhythmical.
    The Chord Mojo with Stu is a go-go.
    Now to play that track you need a DAC,
    To give it tones, from nones and ones.

      Check one 2, yo Arthur Crosby has spoken/
      He's asking about the Black, and he really ain't jokin'/
      The Black version is okay, but isn't really worth it/
      It's like a good gun in Call of Duty, but AFTER they nerfed it/
      The Red version has more power, it's a much better investment/
      The Cobalt ain't worth the dough tho, and that's the main lesson/
      The Mojo is a bit finicky, runs warm like Grandma's cookies/
      The DACport does too, but still deserves a look see/
      The jack issue that's apparent? yeah it's a little bit problematic/
      But it's definitely just a one off, still doesn't deserve the attic/
      At the end of the day yo? I'd be safe and go with the Red/
      Why take the Blue Pill, when you can have the truth instead?/

Just wanted to say that the Red is very power hungry and will only be happy when connected to a high power USB output. When connected to a phone or other low power USB port it will not deliver its maximun potential. And the Red will get hot when driving 300 ohm headphones at high levels.

    I am writing this just to let people who blindly believe there is no difference between Red and Cobalt to think again. It is there, it is obvious and for me very worthy. Not talking about price justification but the sound itself - mush more subtle details revealed and a wider, scaled scene, audibly tighter dynamics. If you don't hear it, maybe it's time to buy better headphones (though I clearly hear it on my speaker system, too) or play some quality music.

    • @HomeStudioBasics
      @HomeStudioBasics  Před 3 lety

      Could it be that you're trying to justify the extra money you spent on what is essentially a placebo? I used a ton of quality music and went back and forth extensively (quite frankly, exhaustively) on many many tracks and songs that I'm incredibly familiar with, but also high quality 24/96 tracks as well. There is little to no difference between the 2 sound wise. Also used time tested and well respected headphones for the comparison so no, it's not really about that either.
      Also keep in mind that the quality of the source file beyond 24/44 is basically inconsequential as you cannot hear anything over 20kHz plus the Nyquist Shannon Theorem comes into play as well.
      Thanks for stopping by! I certainly respect your opinion, but don't agree with it.

    This review and the debate that follows are amazingly honest - it’s sobering and very refreshing - and very funny. I’ve used a Dragonfly black to go between my iMac and an amp, in the past. Now I have a different issue: I want to go from an iPad Air to my Marantz integrated PM7200 amp. Nobody seems to do this these days - am I completely out of step with the times? Anyway I’m trying to find out if a Dragonfly Red would improve the sound here. Or even if my Black could be used? I’d really appreciate your opinion on this, since nobody else seems to address it.

      Hey man thank you so much! So Ipad > DF Red or Black > Marantz? I'm looking at the Marantz here and I don't really see anything on the back that would support such a connection. The only thing I can think of is running a 3.5mm to RCA from the DF Red into the Marantz and use the TAPE ins or CD ins, but I'm not entirely sure if that's feasible. Just an idea. Then you would just plug your headphones into the front of the Marantz. What do you think?

    Nice video and review. I agree on the Cobalt. The one thing about it is the Cobalt comes with the USB-C adapter jitter filter. The red did not and that is sold separately. Is it worth it? Depends on what your needs are. I prefer to gravitate towards the red. Also the headphones and or earphones makes a difference in the equation as well. Also the cable composition can make a difference. I really do like the Mojo and was able to get it on sale during the holidays. Manual focus on this particular camera doesn't work too well - I've tried it before. f/7.1 seems to do okay. It's a dated camera body and the autofocus motor is now starting to really wear down. Thanks bro! Really do love the Mojo. Thought the Hugo2 was good but in no way worth $2700 when you can just get a Mojo for a fraction of that. Hugo is more sterile and neutral sounding, but kind of too clinical at times for me anyway. I really want to do a video of those 2 as well. Maybe shatter some more myths. Lol.
      Anywho, no worries! I was really worried you'd be mad at me because of the DACport. It wasn't giving me any issues until recently. I'm not sure what happened. I tried out 4 different headphones plus the 3.5mm interconnect and the same thing was happening. At first it liked the 600's jack and there were no problems but then the 4XX's started having issues, then the 702's, and then the 600's later. Tried the 9500 yesterday and same thing. Maybe it's something that could be fixed by opening the DAC up. I'll leave that up to you.
      The pad issue was also technically my fault. If you can get it on quickly there's no worry. But as soon as you start messing with it too much and it takes longer, that's when the trouble starts. That's why I love the Dekoni's so much. They are a breeze to get on and off and you've got the peace of mind of knowing they were built much better with a smarter design.

    Awesome video. Sorry for the long question but I’m looking for advice (I’m kind of a newbie with all this): I wanna upgrade my music listening experience from just using my old wired v-moda headphones with Apple Music on my iPhone 8 to the best sounding portable music listening experience. I would primarily listen to music on my iphone while commuting and I would stream hi-res/lossless music from tidal or Deezer. So would it pay to buy the dragonfly red, an iPhone adapter, and some hi-res headphones with wired option such as Shure SE535 wireless? Or would using lightning cable headphones like Audeze’s Sine on ear headphones w/integrated dac/amp be just as good? I’m also considering just getting Sony’s wh-1000xm3 but I’ve read that bluetooth can’t get you quite as good sound even with the built in codecs, tho they do have the option of using it wired. Thoughts?

    • @HomeStudioBasics
      @HomeStudioBasics  Před 4 lety

      If you're new, you're in the right place my friend! Thank you so much for the kind words. I do think the DF Red would be a great option for you. Another Tidal option is iFi's hip-dac which also sounds fantastic. With both of these, you will need an Apple Lightning cable of course. iFi unfortunately doesn't include one in their package and I don't believe AudioQuest does either.
      As for the Sony's, I've tried a couple variants of that model and didn't really like the sound signature. It's a little bloomy/bloaty sounding for my tastes. Definitely more of a consumer oriented sound. For sound quality, what codec does Apple use? I'm not really an Apple guy. I know for Android it's aptX and aptXHD which is obviously the lossless version. But yeah, sound quality with a BT set up is not going to be as good unless you have aptXHD (or whatever variant your phone uses), but even then, a lot of phones like mine don't even support those higher formats.
      I would suggest either the DF Red or hip-dac. Now the question becomes what kind of sound do you mostly prefer? The hip-dac is warmer and more musical sounding, while the DF Red is very open and crisp. Not a gigantic huge difference but still noticeable. Check out my in depth hip-dac review/shootout and let me know what you think!! czcams.com/video/w5HLtsXfa-Q/video.html
      About the Sine: One of my favorite headphones all time. I was plugging it into a separate amp at the time of demo so I can't really speak to the integrated aspect of that one. To be honest, I didn't even know they had it! LOL. I demoed one a few years ago though. Super flat and neutral, very revealing, very relaxing headphone. Perfect sound signature really. You could just plug that into a hip or DF Red and that would be sublime for you.

      Ok cool! I guess iPhones don’t have Aptxhd- just AAC for Bluetooth. And yeah I think certain audeze models come with a special CIPHER Lightning cable with integrated DAC/AMP with DSP, so I guess that could replace an external dac/amp for lossless music? Seems like the dragonfly or hip is a great investment though. Thanks for the info and advice!

    Came from the black dragonfly originally. There's a notable upgrade but if it's worth a 100 or 200. Most likely not. The amp feature can help the dragonflys to drive hard-to-drive headphones of a phone. But that's not really a big point of great help anyway.
    However
    The mojo is worth it the 400 i paid for it, but not only because it's a bit better than all if them. An maybe mainly because I can use it with my gaming console as well.

    Hi! Just wanted to see if you have had any experience with the recent Audirect Beam 2 (or at least the first iteration), especially on how it compares to the Dragonfly Red? I am looking to drive just mid-tier IEMs like the Fiio FH5s, A&K Billie Jean, etc that I normally use on my Android phone/Windows PC. It looks better on paper but I've been trying to find out if it is better on listening/ use. Thanks bro!

      Hey man! Nah unfortunately I don't. I see specs here as 240mW at 32 Ohms, which isn't that powerful (around E10K area), but still perfectly fine for the majority of headphones and especially IEM's. You really don't need as much power for IEM's as the DF Red provides. So if you're set on the Beam I would probably go with that UNLESS you plan to upgrade to some more demanding headphones down the line. What do you think?

      @@HomeStudioBasics Hey I'm a Uni student so on a fairly strict budget for a newbie audiophile setup, I currently use the M20x and a Dragonfly Black. I was looking at closed headphones and I was split between the DT770 and M50x as those are right in my price range. After some research I'm currently feeling like the M50s are more suited as I'll mostly be using them for listening to bass and electronic music, where I've heard the M50s have deeper bass and better treble. Although the DT770s are supposed to have a more natural & balanced sound with superior soundstage, I'm not looking to mix or produce with the setup. As I play from my laptop I figured I'd get a USB DAC, I was originally considering a DF Red as I love my DF Black, but the Cobalt is a bit too pricey. After watching quite a few of your videos :) I'm now starting to consider FiiO DACs you've covered, specifically the K3. As I don't actually require the DF USB portability, and the K3 is much cheaper, + hopefully sounds better? I would love to get your opinion on the DAC and/or headphones as I'm quite the newbie. @@CAL1MBO Hey man! As for the Black sounding *better* than a K3? Probably not. K3 is a great option though for sure if you plan on running DSD or balanced. It can also handle files above 48kHz so that's an option if you run Tidal like I do :) Just make sure Tidal is set to exclusive mode in settings. The only problem with the K3 is that it's a bit under-powered but for the 770 and M50x that won't matter as those headphones don't really require much to get pumping. If you were to go the 770 route + K3, I'd probably get the 32 Ohm version to be on the safe side. I can technically run an HD600 out of a K3 and it sounds great, but there isn't much headroom and I'm on high gain. What do you think?

    Hey, i would love you to test the mojo against the ifi idsd nano black label, and the ifi idsd micro black label. The nano is called the chord killer bcz it costs much less and (people say) it sounds as detailed. Also, loved your honest opinion about the sound!. Question: i only have a pair of sennheiser momentum's 2 (or hd1's, same headphone) and wanted to get into open back, preferrably for gaming and music listening, and really get the "imaging and soundstage" feeling of open backs, with a different sound than sennheisers, and came down to the conclusion that the dt 990 premium 600ohm edition would be great. I think the 990 is a good choice for those specific uses actually! What's your price range? Do you enjoy heavy bass and a bright treble? Because that's what you'll be getting with a 990. Although I enjoyed the production & humor in this video immensely, I certainly don't agree that the red sounds the same as the cobalt. I had the opportunity to A/B/C the black, red, & cobalt before buying them and the blue had much better highs and more scale than the other 2. This certainly wasn't my mind talking me into it, because I wanted to save $100 and I love the color red. It's also ok that you didn't hear a difference....just don't tell the rest of us we don't. 👌🎼✨

      @HomeStudioBasics  Před 3 lety

      Hey man! Thank you for your kind words on the video! My questions: What do you mean by "better highs"? Could you extrapolate on that, and: Perhaps that had less to do with the dac and more with the source file/recording/genre, etc.?? DACS themselves have very little bearing on how the song is going to sound in reality. It's a basic sound engineering principle. The quality of a track (i.e. your perception of how good or bad it is) depends largely on how it was A) Recorded, B) How it was mixed down and C) How it was mastered. As a musician and producer for many years, I know that concept very well. This is in large part why modern music sounds much better than albums of the past. The DAC is very low down on the list of priorities in terms of how it's going to portray something that's already largely set in stone.
      My other question is what do you mean by, "It has more scale."? Perhaps you could elaborate on that as well.
      Thanks for stopping by!

      @@HomeStudioBasics Same song, same device, same headphones, same cable . A/B/C one after the other back to back with black, red, cobalt. I could spit out adjectives all day of what I perceived and the nay sayers would yell "snake oil!" But I'm not here to approve or disapprove of someone's results for themselves. My personal findings were...
      The black had digital glare. The red sounded less digital and more dynamic, but the instrumental textures still sounded like a reproduction. The cobalt sounded more open and had more scale and presentation that reached out past the headphones. The highs were much more extended and smoother sounding up top. The pluck of the upright base on each string had better bass tones and you could hear textures & timber of the instrument which gave them a much more analog presentation. I was a musician growing up & have an ear for live music, so maybe this helps in my assessing electronics, I don't know. What I do know is I bit my lip & shed a tear as I shelled out another $100 for the better sounding device. You are correct in that a DAC alone does not change the sound, it has everything to do with the electronics build around it and how it's implemented. The new cobalt for sure has a new chipset and noise canceling features the other 2 don't have. This could be the reason why I hear the difference.
      Best of luck to your channel! 👌🎼✨

      I have to also admit that Mojo sounds almost too good to be true... The way some people describe its sound sounds like it just has some intentional sound coloring/DSP going on and many people who have heard it have suspected it too. If I have to guess it just messes with the frequency response somehow and makes some artificial alterations to the sound via digital processing or something like that, I cant really think what else it could be. Just speculating here, Im not judging or criticizing Mojo or anyone who likes its sound but sound coloring (or whatever you want to call it) is just sound coloring and makes the sound just different, not "better" objectively speaking.

I would say though that pairing them wasn't really necessary in terms of dynamics, clarity, etc. And although the Ocean as a tube hybrid will give you somewhat of a warmer, lusher sound, do keep in mind that it mostly still sounds like a solid state. For me it came down to wanting a volume knob to turn. As much as I love the Red, I prefer being able to control the vol. from the Amp rather than from my PC. Do you already have one of these? For me, I pick a few tracks that are not just "good" but will tax the DACs abilities. Usually something modern with distortion or a very well recorded track with several instruments. The Black Crowes' Sting Me (album version) and Midnight From the Inside Out from their Live album do just this. There is no way to fake the reproduction of that much ultra distorted guitar and preserve every other instrument at the same time. Its a fantastic test. Using Grado SR325s. Meh. I just think in general DACs are way less important than people make them out to be. Source file is infinitely more critical followed by the headphones. The way a song was recorded is absolutely head and shoulders the main thing to consider. That's never going to change. The DAc is just there to add flavor (warm/cool) or work with a wide array of headphones (i.e. low output impedance). Even if you have the best dac in the world but the song was recorded like sh**, it's still going to sound like sh**. That and I just care less and less about DACs as the days go by. :P
      The problem is that more and more companies are coming out with them which just contributes to the absurdity of it all. You don't find it strange that there's like a million of them but they basically all do the same thing? It's become a scam and I'm not sure why others aren't noticing it or saying anything. There's an obsession with them right now and it's frankly asinine imo.
      As I mentioned in the video, it's more about your brain conjuring up reasons to think DAC A is better than DAC B. Yeah there are some small diff from one to the other but in no way does it warrant the current wank fest that we're witnessing. Companies bank on the fact that people will never be satisfied so they continue to churn them out for profit which in turn empties peoples pockets. For... basically slightly perceived improvement which could just be placebo too. One, or maybe 2 is more than enough in any home set up. It's just another case of diminishing returns really.
      That said, I respect your opinion so thanks for stopping by and for framing your response with respect. If we all agreed on everything life would be quite boring :)

      Hahah! I actually think it's extremely healthy to talk to your cat as much as possible, given that I'm way happier with him around. I think he understands me. He talks to me a lot too. We have actual conversations. He's always been really chill and laid back, but just recently he's really opened his heart to me more. He's been coming around for almost 2 years. At first he was nice, but perhaps a little distant. He'd let me pick him up, but would start to squirm a little bit after maybe 10 seconds. As if to say: "You can pick me up and it's cool, but don't hold me for too long. Just a couple of pets and then put me back down. Thank you."
      Now when I pick him up, he loves it. He doesn't give me those signals anymore and let's me hold him for as long as I want. I still give him the respect of putting him back down because I don't want to over stay my welcome. So he purrs and looks at me while I pet him. He's the best! Also he gave me the slow eye blink recently in the other How to measure your DAC video, right at the beginning. Did you notice that? I dropped my Dragonfly Red DAC ONCE onto concrete from about 3 foot and it dented the unit slightly which bothered me BUT it also made it so the headphone jack became loose. Brilliant. Can't really do anything about it either but I have to pretty much hold the socket to the left/right to listen to music now.
    USB C doesn't work all that well though on phones for music listening. Disconnects far too easily
    Also, not sure if it is exclusive to the Dragonfly but my Android cannot play it at the correct bit rate natively and have to use a player which only supports Tidal and a few others (with a horrible interface) and no Spotify which I prefer.
    Otherwise, you get a very annoying hiss/interference at low music volumes so that is pretty much unavoidable

      I will admit I mostly listen with the Fly on my PC so I don't really have those sorts of issues. So if you don't use the player then you get the hiss? Seems weird to me like that shouldn't happen. Perhaps I will get a USB-C to micro adapter and try it out with my phone. I have a phone with micro but only a Type-C OTG. I've demoed the Fly with a phone but it's really not my preferred way of listening to music unless I'm running BT and my receiver.

      Yeah, the audio just cuts off because the cable appears to be too loose. I've cleaned the connection too to no avail.
      Yeah without the audio player active taking over the USB audio driver it hisses a lot with interference.
      To do with how Android handles USB audio. The Dragonfly upscales the signal when it should be playing as is. USB Audio Player Pro takes it over and hiss disappears. It's only a few quid but the interface as it runs its own interface could be tonnes better.
      In your experience, is the Dragonfly/Chord Mojo capable of taking advantage of higher end gear or would I be better off getting higher end DACs first? My thoughts tell me no as your video suggests.

    • @HomeStudioBasics
      @HomeStudioBasics  Před 3 lety +5

      Hey man! The DF Red, Cobalt, and DAC port all have more than enough power to drive 300 Ohm headphones. That's pretty much a universal consensus. The Dragonflies specifically have 2.1V of power. Not sure what you're getting at. Also I've talked at length in many videos and articles why I believe the Mojo is actually a step up sound wise. I've never once wavered on my stance towards it. It does sound better than a lot of the entry level DACS in my opinion, and even some costing a bit more. To me it represents the ceiling in terms of what most people should invest in towards a DAC. I've heard a lot of Amps costing way more and the price of those is rarely justified. Thanks for stopping by!

    • @Maver1ck911
      @Maver1ck911 Před 3 lety +1

      @@HomeStudioBasics i would say that the red is better at IMD and THD where the cobalt had a better noise floor. You are right the sticks can swing enough voltage and current for a 300 ohm load but start to clip with low impedance/high current loads (under 50 at medium to high) volume) and require at least-6dB source attenuation.
      So depending on the load hiss might be an issue with the red vs cobalt but may not be worth 100$.
      However, the comparison in price/performance to the mojo is where I was having a chuckle. Unless the mojo is on sale, its the most expensive. How portable is it really outside of using cans on a train with a backpack, or easy to transport for office desktop use and home use? The ugly rubber band strapping to a DAP or phone isn't the pinnacle of "mobility" and you're in the 400$ range. I'd almost consider the mojo to compete against the iDSD Nano Black rather than driverless USB dacs with dongles and no batteries.
      I wish the Chord was smaller, but at the end of the day consumers are comparing MQA rendering, form factor and power supply when considering this class of DAC. (Say what you want about MQA). At least the chord FPGA is upgradeable via firmware!.
      Take care.

      @HomeStudioBasics  Před 3 lety +4

      @@Maver1ck911 Hmm. I've used the Red with a LOT of different headphones with varying impedance/sensitivity loads and didn't have any of those issues. And yeah, even if there is a difference between the Red and Cobalt (and to be fair, I sort of heard a tiny one on like one or 2 tracks), it's not enough for me to justify spending an extra $100. Not even close. There's really no reason why I'd ever buy a Cobalt over a Red. They're basically the same thing. Other people I've talked to say the same. I still have my Red and still love it fine. The problem is when people (not you, just in general) start trying to justify their purchases by factoring in what is essentially a placebo.
      This is a huge problem in audio. When folks hear things contrary to their belief system, it results in cognitive dissonance. In many cases they may lash out about it. I'm not here to shill products to people, and my subs appreciate that about me. I'm here to try and help them make a sensible decision on what to buy according to their specific need. The Cobalt to me isn't needed. It was an unnecessary cash grab from a respected company that lost a little of mine.
      I respect what you're saying, but the rubber band method is fairly standard protocol for most portable dacs; in fact I'd probably go out on a limb to say that 95% of people listen to music that way on the go. That trend could be shifting though.
      Myself? I prefer desktop listening so I'm not really in that camp. Of course, the DF Red is an exception to that. DACS like the BTR3K have actually made me *want* to listen on the go again because of their convenience and ease of use, so in that sense I can see where you're coming from. I personally do not like to lug crap around with me when I'm out and about. I never have. Other people I've talked to find that crazy as they couldn't imagine themselves not listening that way.
      Oh and one of the reasons I chose to include the Mojo in this shootout is because people were searching for it and I though it would make an interesting sound comparison given the fact that I've demoed it pretty extensively. I don't personally find it much different than strapping a Q1 onto my phone (which I've done), but again, it's not really my MO to listen in that manner.
      I do like the size of the Mojo length wise, but yeah.. it's a bit dummy THICC. LOL.
