Matt, I do this a lot when i'm doing rebuilds. There are a lot of players who become really good from the second round of the draft. At this point i've figured out who will progress well or not, but the way I've done this is by putting players in the g-league. By signing 2 players on 2-way contracts, you can add a total of 4 players on regular contracts to the g-league and the 2-ways go as well. this is a really good way to get good players in 2-3 seasons
also, to be specific, Kris murray, after 1-2 seasons in the g-league becomes an 84 overall and progresses to around an 87

If you are trying to develop so many rookies, why not use all of the tools available. You can hire the best trainers, change or adjust player training and archtype. send players to G-league.
