Nice review! Can you review the ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM? Would love for this review in a darker space/light off as that is normally how I play. Would love for the review to be focused for gaming on fps games like fortnite. Can you compare it with other ultrawide/34in+ monitors like this one? Tall order lol! Love the content! -Should I buy a 1080p 100hz moniter and use the rest of my savings money for a gtx 1060ti - 6gb
-Or Should I buy a 1080p 165hz moniter and use the rest of my money for a slightly older gtx 960 -4gb

What LG monitor would you recommend for someone playing on Xbox under $1k. I was leaning towards the LG 34GP950G-B or 27GR95Qe
I bought the LG 27GR95QE-B - was really underwhelmed, mostly because the brightness was so dim on console! I then bought this 342C monitor, but had to return as the HDR on console was really lame - the 342C would be a beast for PC gaming though!!
I'm going to try my luck with Alienware 32 inch QD OLED

@AFGixxeR88 specifically for console? I wouldn't bother. It doesn't have hdmi 2.1. Also console only runs at a 16:9 aspect ratio - for a 34 inch it requires 21:9 I believe. So on console, it would look stretched on a 34 inch.
Also this is not QD OLED

don't buy it if you are mainly doing productivity tasks. It has horrible text clarity and you are constantly babying it instead of concentrating on work. i liked the vivid colors, but that wasn't worth the pixel layout issue and also it wasn't that bright in a daylight lit room
This is my issue with all the oled monitors. I’d rather take mini led pannels (something I feel the gaming industry should push more) When done right they look really great, still get a lot of contrast, are much much brighter. And can be used for more than just gaming/movies without the worry of burn in.
Is it really noticeable in day to day use?
Even with using cleartype on pc?
I mean u have to see this stuff in person to get a feel, like oled looks really nice for movies and games but u pay the price. Middle ground would be a well done FALD system like looking at a MacBook Pro or iPad Pro screen

Isnt it ironic with that PS5 sitting there but you cant play on it due to the resolution and aspect ratio.
