The Vario Trench watches are great! I've had their NH38 powered 40mm 1918 Medic with cream and orange dial for over a year now and love it, and the various assortment of their straps I use, they're all great quality as well. As for Vario customer service, I dropped my medic and catastrophically shattered the crystal. I got in touch with Ivan and Judy, and they had a full replacement crystal/bezel assembly shipped out to me in no time, for a very reasonable nominal fee. I was able to replace the assembly myself at home, and the movement didn't suffer a bit for the fall. Great stuff!
Now I'm thinking I'll need to get the brass cased 37mm 1918 Trench with the black and white dial and a display caseback to show off the gilt Miyota 82s5 that will go so nicely with the brass case at some point as well. Plus, I really like their new bund strap style. Seems like a good reason to pick up another watch!

I hate to hear the pulsar is retired for a bit but I must say that is a stunning trench watch and looks the best on the beautiful Bundt strap.
Yes the Pulsar is sold. I had to do it even though I loved it. Eventually it would have hurt that kinetic movement. The Vario is superb. A stunner of a dial and a sleek case.
That's a lovely little watch! I like what this brand is doing. When I squint, I can see the pocket watch these trench watches were based on. A word about Miyota 8 series movements, I regulated some of them myself and when they are regulated, they keep better time than Seikos do.

I stand with Molly…, I had one of these on loan to review from the wonderful Ivan, I loved it so Sam bought me one for my birthday. It’s sensational, sadly the crazy horse is a little tight for gorillas so wearing it on a gorgeous NATO. Great review of a great watch and brand

Yeah it was a tough decision but I am actually wearing two watches some days as I evaluate watches usually over a full 5 days!
I got the cream dial with orange numerals on initial launch. They’re a terrific watch! The only issue I had was the bund strap screws had sharp edges & cut into my wrist. So I reversed the screws to face up! It’s looks tougher I think!💪🏼😡🤣
They've ironed that out now but yeah it would look tougher ;)

I've got the brass one with a white dial. It looks very like the Pulp Fiction watch. Haven't tested Mr. Walken's assertion that it's an uncomfortable hunk of metal though.

I bought the white dial version on kickstarter and the watch has not disappointed. I wear it on an open ended leather strap which I find the most comfortable option. However, it is not a watch that gets much wrist time, maybe I should revisit it

sorry late to the party CZcams decided to lose my comment mid reply. Moll's looks likely she's shaking her head the antics of these crazy humans. Pulsar Kinetic is a really nice watch but has to go and hopefully it will find a loving home via Ebay. The Vario 1918 trench watch is a huge temptation ....I love the WWI style trench watches this matches the style and proportions perfectly with the advantage of modern technology with the improvement of reliability and accuracy. Even better they do a Shrapnel guard for $24 for that authentic look. Also like the 1918 pilots watch with the offset lugs...may look even better than the trench watch. I think this is going top of the list for a birthday or Christmas present to myself. Thanks for doing a great review and introducing this brand to me. cheers!

I didn't even watch the video for a bit because it would have bummed me out if you were leaving. I get a real kick out of chatting with you and listening to your opinions/watching the channel expand. I've told my family about what you did for me, and I wouldn't unsub for about anything.
