This Decepticon has appeared the most in the Transformers movies. I bet you're thinking that I'm talking about Megatron when you look at this title. But I'm not really talking about any of the mainline Decepticons that you're guessing. I'm actually referring to a character who's been used over and over for cannon fodder. And that is Long Haul. Shocking right? But yeah this guy has been 1 of if not the most re-used Decepticon models in the live action films. We've seen this thick bot get retooled and brought back to life just to get torn down again. He's shared his bulky pysique with so many Decepticon copies. We saw two Long Hauls in TF2. In TF3 we see a similar looking bot scan a dumspter truck. And later we see Long Haul get destroyed durin Optimus Prime's legendary killstreak. If you look closely you'll notice Oreo Bot rocking a Long Haul head. And in TF5 we see Canopy and Onslaught sporting Long Haul bodies. Man these designers must love their bots extra THICC.

@@TheFunnyDictator None of these characters are LongHaul. Literally he names three of them 'Canopy', 'Onslaught' and 'Oreobot'. That's not LongHaul as a character. That's the character concept art being re-used in 'Canopy', 'Onslaught' and 'Oreobot'.

As a bit of continuity, he was supposed to be the real long-haul's head reanimated since he was supposed to have died in 2
From what I've heard Igor is the other longhauls head, not the original

@@e-money9251all of the constructicons were produced on mass by the original primes for the construction of cybertron. So long haul basically is just one character with that body type, just like with Scavenger and Demolisher. Shame they never explained this outside of the comics.

Long Haul is probably the most iconic background Decepticon. Is design just fits well in the movies and as a constructicon.
He's also used a lot in transformers games like revenge of the fallen where he is like the tutorial boss and then a normal enemy towards the end
It’s debatable the blackout also counts, his body types has been used twice, but his head has been on so many decepticons protoforms

There was pre-established lore to explain that.
In the Bayverse, the Constructicons are a common class of soldiers, and seven of them can form a Devastator. There can be multiple Devastators, too, if there are enough Constructicons.

The thumbnail has a dude with a autobot symbol. Though personally I believe is the one decepticon aside from the constant cosmetic patient Megatron. Barricade is the dude that appears the most in old films. Considering that most of his fellow cons die instantly in a film or two. Due is the only screen canon Decepticon so survive everything.

The scene Optimus prime killed Long Haul in transformers 3 is the real one that was attached to Devastator, coz some of the constructicons that weren’t torn apart when Devastator was shot didn’t die, Long Haul is one of them, and he came to transformers 3, same as Scrapper and Payload, but Payload and Scrapper survived and turned to the Autobots, scrapper was chopped in half, but took someone else legs and then scanned a new form, which he became Trench and Payload became Canopy, the other constructicons who survived Devastator’s death were killed by NEST
Cannon explanation for the model re use is the mass production of Longhaul clones to ensure that Devastator would be able to exist

He’s talking about the Bayverse continuity. Bumblebee is not only in its own continuity, but even then, those seekers were not used throughout the entire film franchise. He’s talking about designs used the most throughout all of the movies, not how many showed up in just one movie.
I know. But if you really think about it, they did just reuse most designs in the bumblebee movie when it comes to the live action Transformers in general
@@Xtronbot Because they were following the way the Seekers have always been used-minus the Unicron Trilogy. The Seekers are essentially the regular ground troops of the Decepticons. They’re like the Storm Troopers. Since G1, all of the Seekers shared the same body type because they belonged to the same division, or as later continuities would go the Seekers were cast from the same mold.
Yes, their design is used a lot in the Cybertron sequences, but that’s because there’s a reason for it. That, and unlike the clones in the Bayverse, the Seekers in Bumblebee all had different colors.
The Decepticon drones from Michael Bay was also pretty awesome to, the way they spoke Cybertronian language is a really cool thing and makes them scary in a way
@@Xtronbot It’s not that scary since other Cybertronians can speak Cybertronian as well. And despite having an alphabet, every other time outside of the first movie when a Cybertronian speaks Cybertronian, we don’t know what they’re saying.
So instead of feeling intimidating, it just feels plain since it’s a bunch of technical garble that doesn’t have any subtitles to it. And if you want to talk about intimidating languages, Black Speech from the LOTR is far more intimidating than Cybertronian language.

It is, also because it is pretty well known in the industry that the majority of transformers models don't really "work" in the sense that they are a lot of mechanical jargon that do not make sense engineering wise.

If you wanna get technical too, a decepticon using longhauls vehicle but just yellow appeared in rotf during the constructicon scene (he never transformed and didn’t get a name until HFTD) but it’s still interesting.
I actually do like how the live-action films kept the tradition of some of the Cybertronians having the same body type

I actually knew this one. But I only remember long haul because one of the TF movie tie-in games had a free demo of the multiplayer mode and Long Haul was somehow the absolute most broken character to play as. He has lived rent free in my mind ever since
reason for that is decepticon needed strong and durable fodder and Longhaul fits that definition in design.
Those bots were all Longhaul because Longhaul is also a secret master of disguise.
That was my favorite decepticon, i remember having multiple toys of him.
