Since this is a free roam game, can you imagine a tag mode in this game? I think it'd be pretty friggin awesome as a mode.

GamerHats as opposed to a tag game mode i think they should have a game mode where 10 ppl spawn in around the map,1 person at random is spawned with a courier bag, and the other 9 people are trying to take it from them by tagging them, then whoever finishes the round with it wins. Once someone takes it from you, you can't take it back for another 30 seconds. The rounds would be like 10 mins long or something.

I don't really know why ... but I have this feeling that the story has been rewritten at the last minute, considering all of the scenes of this trailer that aren't in the final game. I'm hoping for DLCs, some of the achievements' descriptions are giving a hint about it. Maybe there will be an announcement at EA's conference for Gamescom. Fingers crossed!

I stand with y'all. Mirrors edge is basically my life at this point. I need another part, something amazing. There is so much more stuff to do, more city to explore. We could see more from greylands and the other cities, like cascadia prime. I would die. And that would mean another amazing soundtrack. I'm just praying for this to happen 💙💙💙

People were too harsh when the game got released and dice and ea won't bother doing something special or a 3rd mirror's edge. It's been too silent for any rumours. The first game made me want to graduate high school and go off to be a freerunner meeting strangers on the rooftops lol. I personally loved both games. Mirrors edge was one of my fave games from the last gen. In 2013 when E3 showcased the first trailer to Catalyst, at that point i had to get a ps4 or Xbox one before 2016.
Just listening to that melody that starts playing at 1:07 just makes me realise how amazing the first game was. The thing that made me keep moving forward mostly was the amazingly well done music. It made a huge impact on the gameplay itself, and still lives on within me. It made me feel like I was flying, not running. And that's what it feels like when you have a fluid run when parkouring.
Please EA, just don't fail.

A couple inputs of mine.
1. The man on comms should be Merc. It should be according to the lore. In the first game, Faith says Merc found her breaking into his place after she ran away. She says that Merc trained her into running since childhood. Considering this is Faiths origin and that she already knows how to run, Merc should be in like Flynn.
2. The soundtrack. The music from the first game was incredible and matched the game amazingly. The music from the trailer alone sounds a lot like the first Mirrors Edge game but it sounds a little futuristic to me. It still sounds gorgeous and I cant wait to hear it in-game.
3. The colors still look gorgeous. I'm really glad the colors are still vibrant and smooth with the landscape. Beautiful.
4. Pirandello Kruger. The PK's seem like they are leaving a huge impact on Faith and her team. That being said, the PK's should be well-known by Faith and Merc in the first game. But Merc actually has to look them up in the first game because Faith has been "seeing their name around lately". I know that isn't really big, but I really get into the lore of games and this kinda kills it because it isn't flawless.
5. Morgan Freeman. This is obviously Morgan Freeman. Joking, but it seems like that he is a part of her imagination because she is told to get down by the guards while talking to him. And the guards pay no attention to this guy. So I'm thinking this Morgan Freeman guy might be a role model from her past.
I've got a lot of input but I don't want all of you guys reading a Charles Dickens novel. Tell me what you guys think. Mirrors Edge 1 is actually my favorite game so I'm really interested in your thoughts.

Complete agree with you, something that made me fell in in love of the game beside the story was the city in itself.. Why did thet make it so different? And the shard topping the skyline, where is it? I'm so angry right now
***** I think it's just an enhanced version of the previous city. The original city was a very clean, modern, police state. This is just expanding on it but with a more futuristic vibe. About the shard though, we probably just didn't see it. It's a big city, and it's on the water as well, and we didn't see any water in this video.

Uh it looks better, even the prerendered cutscenes in the final game look a lot more beautiful than this. The only big difference I don't like is that the nights in the game are too blue, while in this they look just right. But all of this is in-engine, not in-game, so it's understandable.

I liked the first one for the parkour sake, it made me feel like I was moving through the air, it had amazing atmosphere. I only hope they will not over combat it but use it, to make the game better this time.
Its been 7 years since the Release of Mirror's Edge Honestly I'm excited that Faith is back she's one of my favorite Female protagonist in video games, her new design looks amazing I'm just really looking forward to this game the first mirror edge was decent but I think this prequel/reboot with be much better.

So happy to see that they are staying true to their roots with the atmosphere, music and the white colored city with some dots of colors here and there.
For those of you that has not played the original Mirror's Edge yet, I strongly advise you to do so. Even as a game from 2008, the visuals are still stunning for what its worth on PC and even the consoles.
While this is a prequel to the first one, you should play the first one which made it possible for the new one to be made.
