Great ideas. It would have been good to reference the "visor" more. I didn't actually get that it was a tennis visor turned backwards. It would be interesting knowing more about how stable the visor is, for example things slide on some women's hair. I wonder about structural supports to provide more anchor points.

I work with taxidermy pieces in my costume making and have been struggling to get my dried duck wings as upright as I'd like. You, madam, just changed my game with the backward visor. It just never occurred to me. Thank you so very very much!

Omg, thank you for this video AND for sharing the links to the supplies!! I would have never thought to use foil to help shape it! Do you have any recommendations or ideas for adding something large to the front of the headpiece to secure it? For something like the size of small stuffed animal (I'm trying to make an alligator headpiece with part of a stuffed alligator plush situated on the front of it) do you think shaping foil underneath it would be enough to support that?

Thank you for watching! It all depends on how much movement you're going to do with it. If its just for a photoshoot, foil and hot glue will probably be enough. If you're going to dance in it or run around a comic con having fun and being wild, I recommend making 2 small holes in the visor and using a wire to poke through the bottom of the stuffed animal and stringing it through the holes so you can make sure it's really on there! I hope I get to see your creation! 😄💕

@@ladygraycosplay7285 Thanks for getting back to my question so quickly :) That's a great idea to use the wire to secure it! Omg, that helps loads with my project since I was worried about that part. If I can get the darn thing put together well enough I'll find you on IG and shoot you a DM with the pic of the finished result lol
Thanks again, I really appreciate it!

Good video, may I ask you why you just didn’t hot glue the sticky side to the feathers for extra hold?….and then you wouldn’t have had to paint the back part of the headpiece…..You made more work for yourself than needed, but overall this was a good video. Thanks for posting.
