But I have a beautiful view through my floor-to-ceiling windows of the Sandia Mountains. Albuquerque is a very pretty town with lots of parks and trees but nothing like Europe because we are such a new country. Thank you for making these videos. It is how I travel these days

I'm 71 years old and live in Australia. It's a beautiful place too. Our climate is lovely..Mediterranean. But we don't have that kind of history or concentrated cohabitation by humans that you have. We have beautiful beaches and special places.
But the beauty of your place is something I love seeing. I can't travel there, but your videos take me there. How incredibly precious is that? And then, I do my best to create that ambience in my own garden. You inspire me.

Aselya, I just wanted to leave a note to say how much joy your videos bring me, as well as inspiration. I lived on the edge of one of the hilltop villages in the Var as a teenager and, 30 years later, I still miss the place enormously. I also have a 15 month son who physically resembles Matthew a lot: when I see your son it is like looking at my own child 3-4 years into the future. I have been living in the Middle East for 20 years but your videos have inspired me to start planning our return to Europe. I want my son to be able to play outside all year around, to gather fruits from trees and to take the same joy from the local nature that Matthew does. I watched the video of St Tropez first, I was underwhelmed, to be honest. I think without the nostalgia and glamour of the 1940’s it lacks a lot. This village, Moustiers, is much more beautiful, even without the sea to look at. The food looked amazing! The narrow walkways, the color of the buildings, the wonderful colors of the window shutters, and all the flower boxes and planters were completely enchanting…even with too many tourists. 😁

I've been there a couple of times, driving along the canyon of the Verdon. It's indeed a lovely village. It smells of lavender as many shops sell essential oils, fresh lavender and lavender honey. If you drive from the Mont Ventoux to Moustier you pass a lot of lavender fields. It's a beautiful region.

Paris is not only france .. villages and other towns are more beautiful and this is real france.. you can visit these places and meet beautiful locals..
Absolutely ! (Even if i am a parisian and love my town)
Not so black and white: I live in France - BOTH Paris and the provinces are real France. Also, when you visit these beautiful villages, whilst there are still some residents, the places revolve mainly around tourism these days: the shops, the products, the atmosphere is largely tourist centric. Not to take anything away from the beautiful and historic villages of France ( I visit them whenever I can) but we should be real about both Paris and the famous villages.
