The more I listen to Shane, in various videos, the more I admire him. What he did in the banker, will teach me in the future rounds I play at Links courses in Ireland, where I usually spend the Summer. Sooooo glad he won the Open. That course was brilliant, as he was. Can't wait to play it next Summer.
Go Shane. You definitely have another fun following at tournaments. See you at the Portuguese Masters.

Great insight into links play... I'd say he could be a good tip for the Open in Portrush

That was just great ! I'm a big fan of Shane, but he's wrong about the USGA. Their objective when setting up a course for the US Open is that the winner finish at near even par. Mission accomplished. And on Sunday, on the back 9, the leaderboard featured the reigning champ, the Masters champ, The Olympics champ, and the world number 1 ranked player. What more could you ask for ? Also, Shane admitted he 4 putted from 6 feet. Can't blame that on the course setup.
But wow, this was a great video. Many thanks to Shane for such a great chat.

I would not be surprised if he comes out in the new year hot and wins the Abu Dhabi wire to wire!

Listened in the other night on OTB and watched again. Super interview. Loved the way Joe took glasses off at various points to make eye contact. Top work guys. #friendofthepod
