My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless

I am 35 years old.i join my gov job in 2006.This time I have no knowledge about share market. So I invert chit fund company in W.B . That time this company give return 6.5 years to double my amount. We can invest in index fund through Mutual fund (uti , ICICI, axix etc) . . annual maintenance charge plus brokerage changes needs to be paid if one invest through Brokerage companies.

Good demo, but the thing is you have shown investing with the help of ETF and not actual Index funds. Basically, to invest in actual Index funds, you don't need trading or demat account. One can simply purchase/SIP through the AMC websites ie., UTI nifty index funds, or HDFC index funds, etc.
