- On this Jim McGorman Interview: One of the most insightful and open “behind the scenes” information regarding modern musicianship, and why programs like The Voice can’t “really” find new artists. A MUST for any working musician to listen to. Great stories about Jim working with the Goo Goo Dolls, David Lee Roth (you won’t BELIEVE what DLR did to him!), Cher (who was incredibly kind to Jim), Shakira, Avril Lavigne and Michelle Branch. How he learned to be a good Music Director, and his philosophy about working as a successful producer. Business low points, being a father, BEST decision he ever made, and the thing that’s giving him the most joy in his life right now

I’m so happy you finally got Jim on the show! I remember requesting him a while back. As a lifelong Goo Goo Dolls fan I’d love to hear Brad Fernquist on the show next.
I second this! I’d love to personally sit down and interview Brad and talk about his amazing career, but the chances of that happening are 0.000001% but I recon @everyonelovesguitar could totally make it happen!
Jimmy earned his reputation as a talented musician and engaging performer. The meaningful questions and thoughtful responses throughout this interview also showcased his wisdom, gratitude, love for family, appreciation of fans, articulation, and social and emotional intelligence. Bravo to you both! 👏

Talented guy and a GREAT storyteller.
Dude! Yes. I want to be a working musician, but I'm afraid to try. This is perfect. Thank you for the livestream!
Oh, mate! Don't be afraid of neither success or failure. Yes, it can sometimes be really miserable, but if You really wanna pursue a line of work in music, independent or labelled, You gotta just do it. Period.
Love Richard Marx, in addition to being a killer songwriter and musician, he also wrote Edge of a Broken Heart for Vixen and pretty much discovered an promoted them. Richard Marx also had tons of killer session aces on his records, Lukather, Landau etc!
I grew up with the cherry hill kids , definitely upper middle class..nice to see our locals make it in the business.. great presentation

There’s a couple on instagram that have a game they play. They hang balloons within their house filled with a white liquid. They hang them above entryways and door ways walkways ect. Then they shoot the balloon when ever the other is entering the area and the white liquid falls on them. The creativity that takes place is off the charts. They always laugh at how they get each other. The competition between them is fierce and lively. The best thing on the enterwebs in my opinion.
Home run Craig!
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed the interview @modscientist9793, and thanks for listening 💥 🎶 🎸 !
