I just received mine & it seemed like it's Not 3400PSI, so I went out & purchased a Pressure Gauge & it's only putting out 2900PSI & 2500PSI with trigger pulled/running pressure. (I expected 3400PSI & Running pressure around 3000PSI, not even close) I called Simpson & they put me thru the wringer checking several items all were good & the Unloader is set as tight as it can go from the factory so it's a bad unloader or bad OEM pump right from the start. I have to drive 25 miles to bring it to a repair shop to get it repaired, they wouldn't send me an unloader to try out first. Very Disappointed with a Brand New Unit.
and the pump itself is made in china, lets see how long the pump last ?, and how much trouble you are going to have getting it replaced under warranty ?, everything i had read in the last few days have said they went through heck just trying to get the pump replaced/fixed under warranty, simpson would not cover it, you have been warned !.
The pump itself is also produced by FNA Group(Based in Illinois) under the brand OEM Technologies. You can buy whole replacement pump units, designed to work directly with the CRX engine line. As for customer service issues, I dont make judgement calls until I deal with it first hand. Most people who recieve great service, rarely write about it, but when its bad they tee off on the companies. So, you generally only ever hear bad stories. We dont get paid by these companies for reviews, so if/when we run into issues we'll keep everyone informed 🤙🏼
@pacospete4299 1 minute ago I'm leaving this comment with as many PW reviews as I can ....... DO NOT neglect to add pump conditioner ( anti-freeze solution ) to the pump after using . I have just had 3 units to go down because of this . THEY make a big deal out of " Winterizing " these machine , BUT the real problem is pump corrosion . These pumps have an alloy casing that corrode if water is left in the pump , an anti-freeze solution will prevent this . Some of these pumps are not available as replacements and others cost more than the machine !!! Did I say Cat ?
same issues attaching the wand holder and lost a nozzle because it wasn't seated. Good review
finally a good video on using this washer. Thanks!
Use a Tennis Ball in the trigger and just hold the wand with 2 hands.
Save the finger and hand fatigue
Great review man! Thanks for the info
Do you prefer the Simpson 3400psi mega shot or clean machine ?

With the sharp tip buddy. It’s what it’s capable with that tip. They all are measured like that.
@@EternalGaze8 I installed a new Unloader valve & now all is good.
That’s a downstream. It’s not pulling into the pump.
