This exam is tough not due to the level of questions and neck break competition but because it is a long exam and without any support from family members, it becomes nearly impossible..Very lucky are those who get family support, a family which believes in you rather than what people have to say..The very fact that every year almost all the toppers in upsc clearly mentions support from family members and friends was the key not just to exhibit their humbleness or love and affection for family or to please their loved ones but because family certainly do plays a crucial role in winning this marathon..And Success has many fathers but failure is an orphan.
Im 29 my past life study's all fails backlogs but i had strong desire to upsc im preparing now
Relatives and friends should not discourage any one who is preparing for any exam at whatever age. This affects their mentally and maybe they will qualify. This is a very good example of her.
Those people doesnt want u to do things with mental peace .they just want u to stay in level less than theirs r stay just as ordinary one

She has got that support system which most of the women lack..its not the ability or the determination but for house wives and mothers its the support system that hrlps her chase her dreams
Very well said ..... She had the desired support system that could take care of her child in her absence...... Many women have aspirations and are capable of hard work but often the lack of a genuine support system kill their dreams...

When you stay away from your child for the purpose of achieving something.. you are bound to be successful.. God helps you.
Her case is not applicable to every women out there, with abusive inlaws and husband. She is just lucky to have supportive family members.

Well my father was out of state for a whole year when I was just 5. At that time we didn't have something like video calling. My mother didn't complaint. If her family have no problem, then what is your problem???
There are many people working after leaving their kids to their family members. It's normal. You just have a problem with her gender. There are also men who are leaving their family for sometime to achieve their dreams.😒😒😒

But now her son will enjoy a wonderful life ahead. Her child would not have to struggle. He would get better treatment at school, colleges and also no one would dare to bully him like other middle class kids. i started late too .... 30 years old .... i left my 7 years of Job .... I can do whatever i want after 35 ... i can resume job or do business... but i cant give this exam once i crossed my age limit .... so i am giving a try before it become too late !!!!

Mam I am preparing upsc along persuing my PhD degree and staying away from my 2:5 year daughter. I am very stressed and thinking to get back my baby with my preparation or stay away from her more atleast one year and prepare. Now she will be going to school this June I am very confused. Pls any one can give me suggestions
But inhone apns bete ko apne se door rakh kar study ki thi , sach me बच्चे hone k baad padhna difficult hota h , u can crack board exams and college exams but u can't clear competitive exams , u have to maintain distance with your family and child , mene v graduation shadi k baad clear kiya ek बच्ची k sath । Or abhi 2 बच्चे k sath mene competitive exams k pt clear kiya h , but mains nhi bcoz of household work and kids 😢
Exactly ive seen interview of married woman with kids passing these exams and most them stay away from family and kids or have household help and all...this is the reality ...poor or middle class married woman cannot afford the luxury and time for these because they have to work...yes passing this exam is not easy she is an amazing woman but one has to have free time for themselves to prepare such exams😢

You are inspiration for all right but leave your kids and without talking them,not to easy for everyone.
In India many people are always busy in piinting out others life but they dont have guds to say of there own this is absouletely bad thing think of yourself not involve in others matters
With these achievements and knowledge she made a basic mistake in her cadre choice, even getting AIR 2, she got Kerala cadre instead of her homestate haryana. After that she even filled complaint in sc but it didn't favour in her side.
