You'll need to make sure you buy the correct type of potats! There's starchy gloopy types and fluffy types. i.e one for salad potatoes and one used for fluffy chips and roast.

When testing to see if microwaving vegetables killed the vitamins it was showed that microwaving is a way to /keep/ vitamins. Cooking them in water is way worse. For example, registered dietician and certified food scientist Catherine Adams Hutt was quoted on webmd and said that the best way to keep vitamins is to expose the food to heat the smallest amount of time and microwaving is a way to do that

Potato bread is a normal everyday food item in Ireland/Northern Ireland :) consists of mashed potato combined with flour and seasoning and is pan fried. You can buy it in the shops here! I could send you some to your po box if you are interested in trying 😁 x

My Mama always saved left over mashed potatoes until the next day. Then she made potato cakes with them. My Dad loved them. I like to put very small diced onions in the potato mixture. Yummy!

I love potatoes too. Try making Kartoffelpuffer, a German type of hash brown or Kartoffelrösti. You grate raw potato (Maris Peer is good) straight into a bowl of water and leave for 30 minutes to remove starch. Then drain the grated potato through a sieve and squeeze out as much water as possible in a clean tea towel. Place in a bowl, add some salt and pepper to taste, plus one beaten egg. If only making a small quantity of Puffer, use just the yolk. Form into patties about the same diameter as beefburgers, but not as thick. Now fry them in hot sunflower oil, turning frequently. They take just a few minutes to turn golden brown. Enjoy! (You can also add some chopped onion to the bowl.)

Have you ever had potato candy? My granny used to make it often and it is so good. Very sweet; you don't need much of it but it's made from powered sugar, mashed potato and peanut butter. There are other ingredients but I've only made it with her once and that' all.I can remember. It's so yummy.
Also Asda sell a frozen bag of mash potato and it’s amazing omg I’m just turned 18 and have an 11 month old it’s just us at lunch time as her daddy is a farmer so isn’t home at that fine so it’s so quick and easy to have for lunch they taste amazing

You could do rice. Use plain rice for risotto, fried rice and stuff, rice paper for soo many things and you can also use rice flower to make desserts

Needhams are a chocolate from where I’m originally from (New England) and they’re filled with shredded potato. There’s coconut oil and vanilla in for flavoring and most people assume the shredded stuff is coconut but it’s not, it’s potato!
So fried chips battered in icing sugar, coconut (and cause you dont like coconut). Crushed salted peanuts or what ever nuts, fry it, then drissle honey or maple syrup on top 🤤👌🏻👌🏻

People all saying the title is misleading ! Think about how boring the video would have been if she just ate variations on the potato for 24hours. This video was way better ! It showed so much variation based on potatoes and it was all things Grack hasn’t cooked before .
My favorite thing is to make chips in the oven. Slice the potato, flash boil them then spread them out on a baking sheet with olive oil, basil and salt and they get so crispy and yummy.

I think you did a great job :-) - I think the potatoes for the bread went "gluey" because of the type of potatoes you used - waxy ones meant for roasting. You would have had a fluffier result with a nice floury variety.
