Congrats on getting to see a Mamamoo concert. Have fun!
The zither is called a gayageum. Correct - the MV concept was a stage performance. The album is called Act 1 Scene 1 after all. Excellent observations about the mirror scene. There's a lot going on in Chico Malo and I recommend spending more time with it. The mix of traditional and modern extends to every aspect of the song and MV and I think it's worth pondering what's going on and what it all means. Chico Malo is my favorite song on the album.
GGBB uses a Grease style musical theatre concept. I'm an ex-theatre nerd but musical theatre isn't my thing so GGBB loses points in that regard but it's catchy as hell and I really like the song. I think you're right that the hip hop dance break is the bad boy section representing how a good girl feels when a bad boy turns her on and unleashes her inner wild woman.
LLL is a fan song for moomoos that was started by Solar and finished by Moonbyul. The song structure is unusual and I don't recall hearing a duet like it - duets usually go back and forth like a conversation rather than being split in half. It occurred to me that if they're sticking with the Act 1 Scene 1 theatrical concept then maybe LLL's split format was inspired by AR Gurney's play Love Letters - it really feels like they each wrote a love letter to moomoos and performed them in turn.

Interesting that you thought Chico Malo was more a Moonbyul vibe (which I agree with), cos Im pretty sure the base idea of it and the lyrics came from Solar.
I agree, but then again i have learned to never put Solar in a box. She comes up and pulls off the most unexpected genres and concepts. đ

I almost cried when you said "I hope that's not on the actual track." BECAUSE WHY DID THEY DO THAT??? I thought this song was so cute and then the producers were like "awesome let's throw a ten second edm breakdown into the middle of our cute romantic doo bop song" and it makes me so MAD. I loved this song but I haven't listened to it at all since it came out because of that dance break. RBW is literally the bane of my existence. They are the absolute worst at deciding when to keep a dance break in. I could write an essay about every time they did this and made me want to kms.
On a positive note, I saw Mamamoo in Chicago a few days ago and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Last year I went to see Arcade Fire and I was like "oh shit that was the best concert I've ever seen, I wonder if Mamamoo can hold up?" and they did. Vocals on point. Hilarious and goofy. Amazing stage presence. And the crowd had the best energy I've ever experienced. I hope you have as good a time as I did!

The girl to the right of Solar, in GGBB, is JJ from 1Million dance studios. She created the choreo for a number of Mamamoo songs. I'm a big fan of Solar. But absolutely love it when Moonbyul gets to sing. I imagine the concert is starting soon. Hope you have a great time. The Chicago show was awesome. :)

Hey, congrats on going on the concert. I'm not a big Mamamoo fan but I've heard they're beasts on the stage.
Now for a request...
I've got to ask, have you reacted to the group Elris/Alice (as they're now called)? They've been around for like 5 or 6 years, with many of them being inactive, but they're very good. Like CLC, they debuted as 5 girls with a cute concept and now are 7 girls with a more mature concept. To me, now they sound more like APink, Secret Number and Brave Girls combined. I would recomend their latest comebacks: Dance On and Showdown. And for earlier releases, Pow Pow and Summer Dream are really good.
