Interesting results from the shooters !! Sure thought that 30 might have a little more punch !! Thanks for the testing !!

Actually thought recoil would be closer between the two. Both nice pistols. Glad everybody enjoyed shooting. Stay safe & take care of each other. Eyes 👀Alert. 👍🙏

The Federal engineers have stated the 30sc has less recoil, so I'm always suspicious of any CZcamsr that claims the 30sc has the same recoil as 9mm. To me they are lying and just a bunch of fudds who hate new technology.
I have both the 9mm and 30sc Shield Pluses. It's OBVIOUS that the 30sc has less recoil when you shoot them back to back. The 30sc Shield Plus has 3 more rounds of capacity in the same size gun, and if you're loaded with 30sc HST ammo, you have 17rds of HST's that do EXACTLY the same thing as your 9mm HST does. There is no penetration difference and the expansion difference is so minor that you wouldn't even notice it. There's more of an expansion difference between 9mm and 40 and 45 than there is between the 30sc and the 9mm. If you're somebody that's carrying 147gr HST ammo right now, the 30sc HST has 21 ft/lbs MORE ENERGY than your 147gr HST 9mm.
The engineers who designed this 30sc round for self defense handguns got it right on this one. The only problem is all the douchebags online who constantly spread false information about the 30sc round.

There’s a lot of truth in everything you said. The only reason I haven’t bought a 30sc caliber pistol is because I have too much money invested in 9mm ( guns and ammo). If I were new to firearms I would definitely consider it. Every test I’ve seen on the 30 sc it has performed really well. It has gotten a lot of unwarranted bad publicity and people have made a lot of false statements about it.

@@YellowHammer26 Like you, I've got a lot of money invested in 9mm pistols and ammo during the last 20yrs. The only reason I bought the 30sc Shield plus was because I already had the 9mm Shield Plus for a year and the new 30sc round intrigued me, especially given that it had 3 more of capacity over the 9mm.
None of the 30sc guns available right now interest me in the slightest, other than the 30sc Shield Plus I own. If Glock, Ruger, Springfield, Sig, Taurus, or Shadow Systems release 30sc versions of the 19/26/43x, Max9, Hellcat/Hellcat Pro, 365 Macro/XL/X, GX4, or CR920, then I'm definitely buying some of them, especially if they can also increase the capacity by a "minimum" of 3 rounds.

I have a Shield Plus in 9mm and one in 30 Super Carry. The recoil is about the same but the 30 is snappier.
