That's a good question I actually do that but eveytime I do that I rotate it once and take the stress of the rod and than I'll push to the pitch that I need buy some times I don't push 10 I'll do 8 rotate and than push another 8% until I get to the pitch I need .

Let’s say I’m at -25 can I pitch to -15 drill 10ft then pitch 10 more ?

Yes you can. Maxing it out though according to Vermeer, but it happens every day

Nah I've pushed way over 10% and its been fine
