Also broke, nearly 30 and living at home. Actually never left home, so feeling real inadequate, embarrassed and dumb. i have no clue what I'm doing anymore but this helps. Thank you.
People be feeling very sad that they are living with their parents. If it's something we are seeing not just in the United States, but also throughout other 1st world countries like Greece, Italy, and France, for example, then it's a problem bigger than yourselves. What makes you the exception, in other words? Be content that you are safe, can eat, sleep, and can still pursue a career in whatever industry you guys want to enter. This isn't aimed at anyone specifically, it's just my thinking.
I'm only in my early 20s but I'm in a similar situation. I had a chronic illness as a teenager that completely derailed my life so I'm just now doing things like getting a college degree and becoming financially independent. I'm working very hard on getting my bachelor's degree and pursuing an entrepreneurial venture so I don't have the time or money to get my own apartment as of now. My parents are very supportive and financially stable so they have no problem with me staying with them as long as I need. I'm very lucky in that way. Not everyone has parents willing or able to do that for them.
i think its harder for men because take her for example no matter what her situation literally ANY guy will date her but for a guy, im sorry but no girl will date him if hes over 30 and living at home with parents because most men measure a women by looks, but guys are defined by their money and status.
I'm currently waiting on 2 apartments (been waiting for 4 months now) and still no openings. I'm currently 25 and still live with parents. It feels embarrassing to me every day I think about it. I wish there was a way I can change this way of thinking, but it's just hard. Most people I know my age (and some younger) are out on their own, have a significant other they live with and everything, while I'm still nobody. It just hurts mentally
The Reason Why so many People Are still Living With Their Parents Is Because The Cost 💲 Of Living Is Insanity and It’s getting impossible to Just Afford To Live from Day to Day been able to Rent and Afford your own home 🏠 in 2023 is crazy and it’s not getting Any Easier everything is Getting More Expensive 💲the Cost of Living Crisis is Getting Worse Now than Ever Before it’s getting so bad that just been able to Afford to Live is a Luxury

There’s absolutely no shame in living with the people who raised you. They’re FAMILY. This pathetic stigma of living at home needs to go.

I lost my relationship, job, business and niece. I'll be 30 in May. Kindly pray for me.

To be honest your in a good spot in my opinion. Doing gods work is wayyyy more important than societal pressure to be what they want you to be
